I'd say we are days away from release depending on everyone's schedule this upcoming week. This is without a doubt the best hybrid roster ever put out and quite possibly the best MLB the show roster ever put out. We'll let you decide.

This roster has always been really good. Had no complaints previously other than a few speed/fielding ratings and a few prospect potentials which is always subjective. I thought the Pads,on paper, looked a lot better than what they got but I was proven to be not as smart as ZiPS, I guess.

The only thing I really wonder is how AC's ratings turned out because I wonder If SCEA uses more of a bell curve shown as 1-100 rather than a flat 1-100 if you get what I'm saying? I see it though as ratings are talent levels but stats can deviate from that yr to yr.

Thank you for sharing these every year. Really good rosters are hard to come by and especially great with the year to year saves now.

i keep on seeing 'wait till next year' and can't help but wonder if that is really what the recent or any future notifications of the roster set coming out 'soon' really means.

Starting from the already best-in-show ratings (my opinion) and deepest roster in the last release, there will be ZiPS ratings updates for hundreds of players. It is looking great. All the stars and breakout players will have been looked at and re-rated if necessary. This upcoming release will be a huge advance over the previous version and that's really saying something because the previous version was nice.

A comment like this was funny on the last page, anyway. Now, it's just meh. But your post has me wanting to sing the alphabet song for some odd reason!

Soon means soon. People keep trying to pin down an exact ETA, but we're too crafty for that kind of thing.

I am curious to see what AC's ratings do - but ours are based from info Knight has into the values of the ratings numbers and seeing he has a lot of contacts with the producers and developers - right now I tend to trust his values more then anyone elses - that said this year the ratings seem to counter act each other in some cases

This makes me poop in my pants! Can't wait to see what you guys have done! Thanks for everyone working on this roster set. I'm sure we all will be pleased with V3 of this roster. I know that I really like v2a so v3 has to be even better.

This set is pretty damn impressive - and while the roster was my idea initially, I am not tooting my own horn because this Version is teeds baby and he has done some incredible work with my little bit of assistance and also help from WTNY and a few others.

What I can say is the amount of work that has gone into looking at every single player, every team roster down to AA as well as the number of players creations - nobody who likes using the Hybrid will be disappointed - the best part is because of the depth of work, even if we took out a player to import a minor league guy - we have many of the missing players already in the vault or you can just import from a previous version of the roster into your own playing copy - basically most teams will have 95-100 players available to them if you just do some importing - which is what I do with my personal play roster.
