Would you guys be interested in getting some help to backdate this version to OD?

I might have some time available in early September

OD rosters don't totally interest me but if people want an incredible updated faces and players version of this roster - that would be an great idea - especially with the possible idea of being able to import into next years game.

Cool. Thanks. I get that now. I did have the OSFM Pitch Edit roster. I guess another question I'd have is.... If all of the ratings are being adjusted, what happens after I download and start my franchise, play thru season one, and get to season two and beyond? Are all of the draft picks, or rookies coming in going to have ratings out of wack? I hope you understand what I'm getting at.

So what I have discovered is some higher draft picks do cone into the roster a little higher rated then the medium of this roster. What I do and have done for 3 years is go and edit the higher end guys and leave some phenom guys. Basically if you drop 5-10 points from each draftee it will bring them in line. I will test this and post results when we release

Honestly, if it was me I would just wait with putting out the hybrid roster until the season is over. Then put out an end of season roster with every team back to full strength and ratings at what they should be at seasons end. This way you could either start your 2014 franchise with the end of season rosters or sim through 2014 and pick right up in the offseason and go from there. Honestly the end of the season is only 5 more weeks away. Do you guys plan on putting out and end of season hybrid roster?? Thanks

I understand what you are getting at. I may continue with Transaction updates through the end of season -may. If I do it may be in the form of updates on Mondays or something like that. No promises though.

If it is at all possible, can you please upload it to a file sharing service? I don't have online on my PS3 and this is my first baseball game. I only play with my brother, but I'd like to have updated rosters. Thanks for your help.

Could you also provide this as an offline file for PS3 users as well? I know you did that with v2 of the rosters.

The OS guys were kind enough to sticky our thread a few times this year - to me that says we have a great group of people interested and communicating with respect on here!

Stay tuned, no set dates yet, no promises, but providing things continue to flow probably within a week - depends on if any teams make any big waiver trades in the next week

Stay tuned, no set dates yet, no promises, but providing things continue to flow probably within a week - depends on if any teams make any big waiver trades in the next week

I was thinking they had stickied the thread because the roster had been released. That's what the mods did with Mizzou's roster thread. They didn't sticky it until v1 was released. Looking forward to the update!

C'mon now. I gave lots of positives which were well earned. I will continue to encourage people to check them out and make their own determinations. They aren't for me but many will appreciate all of the work you put into those rosters. I'm not using them and I still appreciate it. I will be using many players from them in my own franny at some point, I'm sure, just edited to my subjective tastes. I'm just going to use the hubrids as the base instead. Please don't take it personally. I wish y'all worked together to make the mother of all rosters!

C'mon now. I gave lots of positives which were well earned. I will continue to encourage people to check them out and make their own determinations. They aren't for me but many will appreciate all of the work you put into those rosters. I'm not using them and I still appreciate it. I will be using many players from them in my own franny at some point, I'm sure, just edited to my subjective tastes. I'm just going to use the hubrids as the base instead. This is my goal for next year - between Mizzou's roster, AC's attempt and ours - that is a lot of effort into a similar cause - I took a look at the other one and in some cases it isn't bad - I just personally feel that some ratings are high based on values - but in fairness he is probably using a different ratings system all together - our ratings are taking the raw ZiP's numbers and equalling their value to the same ratings system that Knight uses for the OSFM - I took a lot of playing around over 2 years to get us to where we are and I am sure with more involvement and suggestions next year we may be able to take it to another level.

I will never say another roster is incorrect or wrong - beauty is in the eye of the beholder - and honestly I really like the CAPs Mizzou added to his roster - I may use some for my own personal roster or franchise - that was how I created the "Hybrid" - there are a lot of good rosters out there - what it comes down to is personal taste in what you want

My apologies for discussing another roster in this thread. I tried to be helpful to another and understandably Mizzou took kind of personal offense-or that is what I perceived. Considering the quality of his work, I just felt it was unfair to both of us--him and me. So my apologies for the slight derailment.

Now, please tell AA to leave Creighton University alone. Ain't nobody confusing the two...

Not to be ignorant of patent law and such, but it seems like a drawn depiction of a blue jay, if accurately done, is gonna look similar to other accurate depictions of said bird.

Teeds& Willards has Roberto perez(indians),Francisco pena (royals) , Tyler saladino (whitesox) have they been rerated seems to be rated too high for their position higher than some top 10 prospect.Just curious i can adjust the rating myself.

I think I can speak for all of us working on this when I say it's coming not just soon, but very soon. Days....not weeks. That's as close to an ETA as I'm going to get, but things are progressing nicely and loose ends are being tied up.
