Man, did scea replace dustin ackleys character? His awesome beard is gone! I haven't downloaded a roster for a couple months so this was a bit of a shock

Edit- exited the edit player screen, went back in and his beard was back. Haha

Going through this roster, looks like you guys did a great job

First of all, I love this roster & the player ratings. Also, the attention to minor league prospects is outstanding! Thanks for the hard work!

I am having one problem....I started a Kansas City Royals Franchise & am 6 games in. I have had great, close games. However, I have only seen 1 Home-Run so far. (That's counting Royals & my opponents. The HR was by Miguel Cabrera). I have moved Human Contact/Solid hits to 9 & Human Power to 6!! I am still doing good to get a fly ball to the warning track. With past rosters & the same set of sliders, I was seeing 2-3 HR's a game. (Possibly too many). So I don't think it's that I'm a novice at hitting.

Any advice??? I'd like to keep playing with this awesome roster set & this franchise. (Btw, I get plenty of solid hits. But no HR's!)

6 games is far too small of a sample to deduce anything.

If you have been waiting for months, you could've tried to learn how to tailor the rosters in that time. Maybe someone will help you out, but if pleading like you're doing doesn't work, nothing is stopping you from trying to make your own. It really isn't all that hard to learn.

i just started a Royals Franchise myself, about 20 games in and Ive only hit 2 homers...i find that really horrible...i mean they hit 95 in 162 games so im not looking for huge numbers but the way this is going, i may not have a guy hit 10 for me which is unrealistic....also ive only given up 5 homers...

im hoping that there are sliders for these rosters that can somewhat balance it out

Exactly the way I feel. I'm about 10 games in now. I have not hit a homer yet & my opponents have hit 1. (Mike Trout)

Check out the sliders forum and find one that you like. This isn't a sliders discussion, so it's unlikely you find answers in here. There's no substitute for trying different sliders out.

Fwiw, I just played through the ALCS with the Royals and these rosters. Gordon hit 3 HRs, Butler two, and Infante one. Morales had two against me and Ackley one in the 7 game series. I used Nomo's sliders.

I just downloaded these a few days ago. I must say you guys did a great job with these. Thanks for the rosters and all of the hard work put into these.

Was running tests with these the last week or so and one thing I noticed is players in their mid 30's won't regress drastically like they would if you left their default ratings. I actually like this and how it plasys out.

                              Example:
Paul Konerko progressed from a 63 (I think) to 67 by seasons end and he didn't retire until after the 2017 season in which he was a 69 overall. He would have retired by seasons end after the 2014 season with other roster sets.

I'm also not seeing a ton of crazy retirements either. Not as many in general period which is also good.

A couple of the vets still get hit pretty hard, such as Chase Utley and Big Papi, but for the most part these rosters are regression-resistant by design. Partially that's done by having OVRs that are not inflated like most rosters. Part of it is maxing out POT for older guys. Utley and Papi drop into the mid to high 70s OVR after 1-2 seasons, which is still worthy of a 25-man roster spot and probably a starting role.
