The Yanks are like a "cheat" team to me. They are so dominant in almost every aspect that they just crush most of the competition.

Wanted to re-create the 98 Playoffs, unfortunately the new playoff format and Houston being in the AL doesn't allow for this, but played a day game with the Cubs vs. the Braves and have to say so far the rosters are great. Very accurate faces and styles. Enjoying the set.

Does anyone here play with a specific slider set that would match well with this roster?

Played a game earlier with this set and it was great! Thank you so much baumy for your your hard work on all the sets you made this year. I would have to say this is probably my favorite set.

Played a game earlier with the yankees and lost to the rays( how embarrassing right?) el duque could not get anyone out in the 5th. I was down 7-3 in the 7th I had 2 on and no out and paul o Neil struck out and then tino grounded into a dp. Game ended 7-3.

Does anyone here play with a specific slider set that would match well with this roster?

I strongly suggest Armor & Swords/Marino's slider set. It is what I use and I love it.

Haha, yeah man that will happen. I've come to enjoy losing because it feels "real" when it happens. It's probably the sliders, but I've had a lot of blowouts go both ways, and a lot of close games that hit extra innings mixed with some good comebacks. Variety is the spice of life, as they say.

I figured I should address this in here, because I have read about people experiencing freezing franchises/seasons in other threads and have received questions about it in here as well.

Up until completion recently I had not started a franchise or season. I heard things here and there, but to be honest didn't think anything of it since a patch had been dropped and because I just frankly couldn't imagine these modes not working.

I was wrong.

I have tried to start a franchise or season numerous times now, with numerous different rosters.

Every roster I try (mine or others) has eventually frozen before or during game 3 of the season.

I have no idea how to fix this or what causes it.

It's very disappointing because I made these rosters so I could enjoy playing through a single season, make some trades maybe, accumulate stats, etc...

I'm kind of at a loss here, because SCEA has always been a very good, reliable company, but this is very frustrating. I even had given up on the classic sets and tried to start a modern franchise, but that also failed.

Believe me, after spending this long on these sets and now finding out I won't get to enjoy them (with no ability known to transfer them to 15 yet) I am just as, if not more unhappy than a lot of you. It feels like all we have is a nice one-and-done exhibition game set - which is fine, but yet not really...

Wish I had an answer/help for you guys, but having recently just experienced this I am at a complete loss.

If you can somehow play through a year(s) with no problems that is great, but I don't know how many more times I am going to keep trying only for it to crash.

i mean as much as russell visits these forums and as much as an issue this is, even though, the devs are working on the next version, the odds of them looking into this matter are what ? maybe getting a patch for it ? it just doesn't seem like we cant have our voice heard, and this is not a knock against the team, these are legitimate questions, i havent tryed to start a franchise yet, are you telling me this whole game whether its modern day rosters or custom rosters, you can not get past it, wwithout crashing? please tell me this is not the case ?

I should note when I say "modern" I mean the sets with current players, not the official SCEA rosters.

Maybe using created or edited players causes it to crash.
