I have an issue with freezing on PS3 with the 98 rosters. When ever it gets to the Futures game it freezes. Any way to fix this?

You can't use these in franchise mode. Are you using them in franchise or season mode?

Only use the set in Season mode with roster control turned on (no injuries) 30 team control.

After going over 30 games into my franchise (as far as I have been able to get so far) I got the error/crash again.

It read:

An error has occurred in the following application.
(CE-34878-0)
MLB 14 The Show

I don't even know if I will try season again, even after listening to A&S.

Very, very disappointed and upset.

This was apparently a problem even before my rosters dropped and it still continues to be one. Yet no one here seems to have heard a word from SCEA.

This is utter horse ****.

If my business sold a product and one of its core features was broken, how long do you think it would be until someone brought it back and tore me a new one?

Fix it already!

So you are playing these in franchise instead of Season mode? If so..that is the issue.

try my suggestion of season mode, 30 team control, roster control on, and whatever teams your not controlling set 40 man roster control, free agent signings, to manual on the other 29 teams so they can't sign any free agents in the FA pool.

No, after I tried numerous times to play a season with my classic rosters I gave up and started a franchise with the modern ones for a second time since the first one crashed.

Got past 30 games in franchise then and it crashed.

I don't doubt your suggestion works, and I appreciate you sharing it with me. I'll probably try it later, but I don't know man.

I am getting tired of playing either a few or a lot of games into a franchise or season and running into this and it's a damn shame. This is one of the best game series out in my opinion and the reason I bought a PS3 and PS4.

We shouldn't have to work around things in order to use a games core features. And that's just for season - Who knows why my franchise is hashed.

I think there needs to be a little pride in the work here and either patch this issue or at the very least address it (if it has been already and I missed it, I apologize) so we know they're not just leaving us hanging.

SCEA is better than this.

I know you are frustrated....but this doesn't seem to be a widespread issue.
I'm into my third season already and haven't had a crash .....so obviously it's not a "core" issue with franchise/season mode or everyone would have it.
Something in your options settings may be causing this....a roster error that occurs when a call up or injuries or something may be causing it.....
Does it happen when simming?
Playing?
Advancing to the next day..?

Have you checked through each teams rosters to see if they have an invalid roster somehow?(less than nine pitchers used to be the problem with crashes)

I tried to look through team rosters/lineups/rotations...but didn't see anything out of the ordinary from your release state.....it seems to be happening during the season.
Did you try take control of all teams and make the moves to get past that crash point?
That might be worth a shot.

If controlling all 30 teams will alleviate the issue, then I will probably give that a go in a few days when I am finished with GTA.
