Re: justmunc's Fictional Roster
This is a VERY GOOD base save! There is one 90+ rated player per team and only a couple 80+ players per team. Im not saying this is a bad thing by any means. I think it allows for some higher rated players to be created by the individual that dl's it and it wont over saturate the league. Maybe even for Bob to add a few of the "elite" creations that were submitted and put out an updated version. Assuming that is ok with the creator of course. I know with the fictional rosters in the past we never stopped updating and adding to them.
I know personally the work that goes into this project and say THANK YOU to the creator for his efforts this year!Comment

Re: justmunc's Fictional Roster
I ran a few sim season with these so far to test them out and man they are pretty well balanced. In 4 seasons the highest batting avg was .357, most HRs was 51, hits 207, rbis 136, wins 24, saves 55, era 2.01, ks 244. I love it. Im going through now trying to decide which park i want to play most of my games at then i will tweak the appearance of a few players and edit a few others names to reflect my children and i will be on my way.
Every year the fictional set is my favorite so I thank you as a member of this community for the work you put in and I assure you it will not go to waste

Re: justmunc's Fictional Roster
Thanks justmunc It will be a variation. Some new players mixed but definitly the credit goes to the guys that made the players and justmunc for even producing a fictional roster. I'll provide more info soon and let everyone know when they can download the variant.Comment

Re: justmunc's Fictional Roster
Any update on these? And THANK YOU justmunc for all your time and effort for creating these! I've never used a fictional roster before, is there anything special that I need to do or to watch out for? Can these be used in franchise mode or just season mode? What's your opinions on a fantasy draft or keep as is?
TIA for any and all help.Comment

Re: justmunc's Fictional Roster
A variation is wont be happening before MLB 2105. Im seeing what I can do to combine or set up something for 2015. If people stay with 2014 they will get a roster, if people go for 2015 I'll provide a franchise file. See what it allows us to do.Comment

Re: justmunc's Fictional Roster
Just wanted to say I have been loving the rosters. I started a franchise with both the Brewers and Pirates and am getting to know the players. In a week or two I intend to settle in on a team and go from that point. Fantastic work on the rosters!!!
PS
The Pirates have a first baseman that appears strangely familiarComment
