Not to beat a dead horse but I see that discussion of Hybrid roster and how drafted players impact it, drafted players having high ratings and things go haywire after 3 or so seasons.

In a perfect world things would match up, and I agree the ratings should be on the same scale if possible. But I will say I think anyone planning to play 3+ years of franchise worrying about hybrid player ratings off scale should be more worried about the things tbarnes found in his sim tests with pitchers ratings inflated ruining the league. The fact is, most sports games franchise modes fall apart after a certain amount of years. I've always found the best method is to enjoy a few years of franchise when things work as they should and just bail on the long distance franchise idea.

I would like to see SCEA fix the long term franchise problems because those are much more pressing. Sim stats, player ratings, contracts, etc... It's especially needed because of the new year to year saves feature they added. It doesn't quite make sense to add that feature but then leave all the broken things about multi year franchise in the game.

Hopefully next year guys that enjoy 3+ year franchise mode will get the game they deserve. We should all have the opportunity to play the game the way we want to with the same quality as others.

I'm not willing to go much farther than this quite yet, but sim stats and ratings look quite smooth and accurate through at least 3 years using the Hybrid roster we are currently working on. I have hope that people will be able to get deeper than ever before weird things start happening. With carry over saves, that's been a goal of mine with the roster and the ratings aspect of it.

I know that with year-to-year saves now being available, it's hard to judge...

...but I'm quite curious who actually gets to season #2 and further. Granted my number is arbitrary but it cannot be over 10% of the entire MLBTS user base. So then, the folks using this roster and going to season #2 would then have to be substantially less.

But I digress.

I am thoroughly looking forward to this roster, gents.

Oh, in franchise no you cant. I thought you meant onto a roster outside of franchise mode

It was me who asked originally. I don't have a franchise I've been waiting for the OSFM.

So I'd load up the new official update, export the players I want to move over, then load the OSFM roster, and import said players onto it?

This is my first year with the show so I appreciate the help
