Hey red did you do any equipment edits in this plan on checking out this out in the morning. Also is there a spreadsheet out for Pitch Edits, I remember you releasing one for The Show 13 I believe, thanks again.

I did do some on prospects yes. Most of the MLB guys I checked on..but SCEA really did a bang up job on equipment with MLB guys this year. Hats off to them, there isn't much work that needs to be done there.

Question -

Why are salaries in The Show sometimes so far off from the real salaries? Nick Swisher is making 1.5m/season, but in real life, he's making about 13 mil.

I'm using your rosters, Redsfan, and great job. But I noticed in the default rosters and in your version, the contracts are sometimes far from accurate. I'm not criticizing you, you did a fantastic job. I'm just wondering why this is the case.

I'm not really sure what went down between all of you gentlemen who were working on the roster this year because I don't know any of you but I must say I find this all very disappointing!. Every year Knight's rosters were a BIG factor in making this one of the best sports games I have ever played (and I am almost 40 and have been gaming since Atari). Now I have no clue what to make of all the childish fighting in multiple threads so I guess I have to play with jacked up rosters supplied by the game. Not sure who is to blame and it really does not matter because in my opinion we ALL lose!!

Have you seen the latest new roster hybrid roster by yours truly jaysfan17 obiviously there certain individual he disagree with.Sometime people take gaming too seriously.

I truly think the default sliders are pretty good. The only adjustments I really make are lowering human/cpu foul freq and solid hits to 3, and human/cpu control/consistency to 4. That's really it man. The game plays great out of the box.

Better safe than sorry. And by this I don't mean to seem like I am not sorry but I don't I think I offended anyone. All I said was that I thought someone who saw this thread without the edits would think it is the roster that is usually put together by Williard. But I am sorry if that did offend redsfan.

I don't know for certain if I'm included in this, but certainly not gonna wait and find out. My only post in this thread, I apologize to redfan if I offended him with it. It wasn't my intention to offend him or anyone else, I just was pointing out something at the time without any malice intended. Either way, I'll be staying out of this thread permanently from here forward to avoid any further issues.

This, completely. I already sent RedsFan a PM for contributing to such a derailment of his thread. He didn't need me to stand up for him and the community may not have needed the same thing. I felt that most of the discourse was heated but civil and not personal on any way. It certainly was not intended to be from my point of view and I took no disagreements with my opinion personally either. I really feel that there will be positive steps forward in the future since this was aired out in the open though misperceptions can deceive us.

Redsfan, what is used to determine speed and fielding stats? These stats seem to be much different than SCEA players and just curious what formula is used. Most notable difference in Andrew McCutchen. His speed went way up, which I agree in, but defense way down. He was a former gold glove recipient
