Also, do you mind if I incorporate these into my roster?
Martinez' repertoire looks pretty similar though he's throwing about 3MPH slower than last year. Interestingly, he's actually got much better movement on both his change and slider at these speeds. In general, the sheet only reflects data from last year. If guys added/dropped a pitch in 2015 it's not incorporated. If they added/dropped it in 2014 it is.

Definitely do not mind if you use these, I took a look at your roster today and it's strong work. Played around a little bit to see if I could get the draft to go through but no luck yet. Hope SCEA gets on that for all of our sakes.

Quest, I know you said the pitchers you touched have 2014 Q listed. Should we also only be changing the pitches that are in bold for those pitchers as well or all of the pitch types?

For example, Aaron Crow on the Marlins in the game throws a 4 Seam FB, Slider, 2 Seam FB, and Changeup in that order.

On the sheet, he throws a 2 Seam FB, Slider, 4 Seam FB, and Circle-Change in that order. The 2 Seam FB and Slider are the only two pitches not in bold.

Should we still change them all?

Yes, change them all. Whether I change something on the sheet is just a change from seanjeezy's 14 sheet, not what SCEA has in game. The only thing you shouldn't add/change are the pitches with the font struck out.

Gotcha. Once again, thanks dude. I have been inputting the teams I will be playing in the next few series in my Franchise.

Someone who probably needs looked at is Shelby Miller. He's all but removed the changeup from his repertoire for 2015. According to Brooks Baseball he's only throwing it 0.43% of the time this year, which is a small enough number that it could just be mis-categorized pitches of other types. He's replaced the changeup with a sinker. Hopefully the sample size for this year is large enough for some concrete ratings to be made for him.

The amount work put into this is simply amazing! I think, these changes are possibly more important than changing the every day player ratings. I do have one question, though. Is there a downloadable roster from the vault or do we each need to input them manually?

If I did a later pass using '15 data it would be out. Luckily removing pitches is trivial so if you wanted to take it out of your chosen roster set it's not a big deal.

The amount of total work is pretty daunting but breaking it down into manageable chunks has made it workable. There's no roster yet but I know ilstu was thinking about adding them to his and I know individual people have been adding them to their own rosters. Whether they're doing it to an ongoing franchise or an actual set I don't know. When Willard releases his roster we have a skeleton of a plan to put them in there.

Just curious what the reasoning is for having so many pitchers Changeups switched to Circle-Change?

Yeah I spotted this as well. The Braves are one of the teams I finished.

The movement on the circle change is more pronounced, the regular changes aren't as impressive, especially in terms of horizontal movement. Also, a lot of those guys actually throw circle changes, the base rosters don't have enough of them in there.

I just deleted my post. But between you and I. when I used seanjeezys pitch edits and changed the regular Change-up to circle changes the break of that pitch kill me. LOL

If you look a few pages back I talk about changeup break at length. The biggest difference between seanjeezy's edits and these at this point is that my formula for break on changeups takes into account mostly vertical movement. It results in much lower break ratings across the board. Only guys with really nasty drop in their changeups will have it here.

Do your edits on your spreadsheet include seanjeezy's or do we need to find those elsewhere? Thanks for all your work.

                                They're included.
