I just uploaded his Ian Happ CAP and it is amazing.

I cant imagine how much work it requires to create rosters/players for the community like that. So much detail.

Yeah I have been taking the faces he made and taking pictures of every...single...aspect of them so that I can overlay them over my 2015 guy and just from that process I can't even imagine how these guys do what they do because it is so time consuming, makes me appreciate their work even more

Draft picks aside - I just put v1.3 in the roster vault PSN Crapinmyshoe

It contains all updated transactions, some players imported from other rosters to replace holes as well as SCEA update roster players with proper audio names added back in.

The base for v1.3 is the v1.2 roster without accurate contracts.

Anyone know where I can find cap's of Jays prospects Sean Reid-Foley, Matt Smoral, the SS Urena and DJ Davis?

The new roster only has transactions added and SCEA updated players added for transfer over next year plus some stance changes to the Blue Jays. Basically if you want face scan Joey Gallo and Jacob Lindgren next year out of this roster you may want to start over.

Yeah, I am with smooth pancakes, the cards drafted a very exciting player last night and I'd love to see him in the roster. So does this boomersooner have a thread or something on this board? Or is his stuff just in the vault?

Also, if anyone's planning on adding the draft picks into this I would love it if you could let me know. I'm sure there are a lot of others as well.

Apparently there is a ton of excitement around all these picks from last night - I really don't know why, this isn't hockey or basketball, these guys aren't helping your team this year with maybe the odd exception.

If someone is doing a draft pick version, please touch base with me so we can do an official version

Most high school players are roughly 4 years away (which makes them impractical to think about on a 2015 roster). However, teams that go with college talent can see their players on the MLB roster much sooner. Especially with the elite college guys.

Kris Bryant was the best 3B in the Cubs organization from the moment he signed with them.

Carlos Rodon and Aaron Nola were both drafted last June, and Rodon has already debuted, with Nola not far away.

Brandon Finnegan was pitching for KC last season, months after being drafted.

Schwarber and Conforto are both around the corner.

Zunino, Gausman, Wacha, and Stroman from the 2012 draft all flew through the minors.

The top H.S. talent takes an additional year or two compared to college guys, but the time it takes for highly regarded players to advance through the minor leagues can be exaggerated at times.

That being said, I would only add the top players taken last night.

Swanson, Fulmer, Bregman, Benintendi, Jay, Harris, and Happ are all basically locks to sign and can be added with confidence.

Guys like Rodgers, Tate, Tucker, Clark, Russell, Whitley, and Stephenson are all likely to sign as well and most of those names could move at a decent pace.

Obviously it's not practical that they'll be used. But when I run a franchise mode, I like to run it just like a real GM, and the more prospects the better.

I am one that gets excited about the MLB draft. NONE of these guys will be in the majors anytime soon...with the rare exception. I just enjoy the scouting reports, projections, comparisons, and baseball talk that comes with it(as well as seeing what the Mets do-solid pick with Lindsey last nite!).

However, this is a video game after all. You are free to do as you wish with your team(in fact I just called up Michael Conforto, the Mets 1st rd. pick last year in my 'chise). Unless your playing 100% true to life...anything can happen

                                Exactly.

I know everyone plays their franchise a little differently, and the most important thing to do is to enjoy yourself. If you do that by making a true to life franchise where everything mirrors real MLB....then that is fine.

But personally, I choose to play without 30 team control and all that because I want to experience my own little world. I am not trying to mirror the real teams. At that point, I might as well just watch the games on TV and stop playing the videogame altogether.
