Yes I did that over a week ago. It's in the vault under my psn name ChrisJohanson58

Edit. V1.1 is now in the vault. Included some new updated faces by Motown plus the removal of Asian free agents Otani, Park, Maeda and Fujinami

There's not a version of these rosters out there without the pitch edits, is there?

Your best bet is to check out Ridin's weekly updates. They have stock ratings for batters, but also NO pitch edits. Enjoy.

You should make your own thread so it will be easy to find. Thank you

Yeah, that's what I've been using. I don't get the praise for WTNY's pitch edits, I find them unusable though using classic pitching instead of meter/analog is a big reason for that. His methods were also questionable and he refused to address that criticism. I was going to use these rosters until the pitch edits got included but I also didn't have any time to help this year other than to try and give constructive criticism while I was at work so I appreciate the work that was put into them. I just can't use them.

I admit, I use meter and love the edits. It has been very realistic with control for my Jays pitchers. Sometimes they are on, sometimes they miss the zone and take a bit to get it back

Ultimately these rosters were made for you and I am glad you are back to playing. How are your jays doing?

Don't mean to harp on your choice. Classic has always done that for me - sometimes a pitch just won't work that day...

I will be posting my franchise soon in the dynasty thread [emoji6]

I find the same thing, some days a pitch just doesn't work, which with the new control ratings makes it so the pitcher really has to scrap and fight to have a decent outing

There's so much going on in this post, lol. Why don't I start somewhere... Instead of trashing other peoples' work, why not do your own edits? It's the grown up thing to do. If you don't have time to do better (yawn at the critics who always have time for criticism but never seem to have the time...), then the mature thing is to save your "constructive criticisms" for when you do. Your criticisms are generally not constructive in nature, either, because you mention what you dislike and why you dislike it but do not mention potential improvements. Just because you say it's a "constructive criticism" doesn't actually make it one. Finally, that you don't agree with a design decision doesn't make it questionable, either.

As roster editors, we are used to unfair and ridiculous criticism, but you seem to be going out of your way (out of thread, even) to take shots here...That said, good luck finding a roster that you can tolerate. Maybe you can find the time to edit something to your liking.

Pardon, the intrusion into your thread Willard, but I don't feel like letting a frumpy rjackson control the narrative about my work in another thread no less. I maintain that people should judge for themselves about the pitch edits, my ratings, your roster etc etc...Also people should make use of sliders if need be (such as pitch control/consistency) before making wild generalizations. I am not responding further on this matter in this thread, but just wanted to say my piece in response to rjackson's "constructive criticisms" of my work.

WTNY, yawn if you want but I am at a different station in my life then when I contributed rosters and sliders for High Heat. Yea, I've been there. Now, I am responding after a 10 hour work day on a Saturday. I'll be back at work again tomorrow. That is reality. Sorry. I have responsibilities that cannot be ignored. Your presumptions and calling me frumpy-that seems pretty personal to me. I didn't characterize you, merely discussed what is an integral part of these rosters.

I tried to discuss your specific methods in your thread but you chose to ignore my questions. Being that these edits are a part of the roster, there is nothing inappropriate about my discussion and question asked here. Also, sliders can only take you so far when there is already a disparation of ratings. Overall, you did a good job. They could be better if you were willing to accept input.

As apparently the answer to my question is 'no' and i am disappointed to not be using these for the first time since AC said hey, lets make a ZiPS roster, I will stay out of this thread. I will be looking forward to your dynasty Willard and meant it when I said thanks for what you've done. I really do appreciate it and hope you have fun and stress-relief in getting to actually play now.
