Are contracts the only difference between v2 and v1.3?

Re: 2015 OSFM REVISION ROSTER v1 - Released

I have a sort of related question to your rosters Willard. It isn't an issue you created, it stems from OSFM. I don't even know if it is an issue but I wanted to ask your thoughts.

I know you used the zips ratings to re-rate and they turned out great! But what I see in lots of the minor league guys is their batting splits being very tightly rated. A strong majority of minor leaguers have lefty vs righty average splits that are even or at most a 4 point differential. Comparing that to the major leaguers, and not just your rerated ones but even the stock SCEA guys in the default rosters. You can see lots of players with 20 point differences, and most with at least 10 point differences.

I don't know too well how progression works of individual ratings but will those contact ratings remain as tight as they are now? I feel like it doesn't represent the difficulty in hitting a same handed pitcher vs an opposite handed pitcher. This is not a strike against you but instead against the ratings done for OSFM. I wondered if you saw this and if you feel it is worth being bothered by?

Also separately for the Mets Curtis Granderson should be RF/OF and Michael Cuddyer should be LF/1B for positions.

Thanks for all your hard work it truly makes a difference.

I didn't really want to take the days to fix all the minor leaguers splits and really a lot of that changes as guys progress IRL

                      2015 OSFM REVISION ROSTER v1 - Released

The backdated version is now available in the vault. I've named it Revision Roster OD v1.0. It's under my psn name ChrisJohanson58.

Ignore budgets and 30-team control is highly recommended as it's all IRL contracts. All guys on the 40-man rosters make at least 510k.

All injured guys like Darvish, Corbin etc are on their respective MLB clubs and not down in single A.

Lineups and rotations were NOT set to reflect Opening Day as the CPU will mess that up anyway heading into a franchise.

Huge thanks to Knight, Ridin' and the rest of the OSFM crew. Willard and his crew did an amazing job touching up the roster as well so let's not forget them. Kudos to everyone involved!

I'll make a thread this weekend so that we don't clog this one. Right now it's zzz time.

Enjoy!!! I know I'll enjoy the game now instead of modding a roster. It's franchise time

This is probably going to be the dumbest question I've ever asked, but Willard mentioned adding players mid franchise to replace fake draft picks. How do you do that?

I believe what Willard meant and I may be wrong, but I think he meant he just does the draft and then once it's over he changes the players to actual ones instead of fake ones. Just changes their info, faces, etc
