Some of what I'm doing includes:

    1. The updates I mentioned earlier.
    2. A few changes to rotations in the minors (for some reason on a few teams relievers who had like 30 stamina were starters while starters were long relievers in the pen
    3. Some updated transactions
    4. Checking for other duplicates. Done with 20/30 teams so far and have only found the one Flores duplicate.

For my own personal set, I was going to add in the tabarnes contract suggestions, but, since Totte is doing the contract update set for this roster, I won't include those in the roster file Willard receives.

I should be done by 8:30 or 9:00, assuming things go smoothly. It's nice to have such a clean, relatively mistake free file to edit.

Thanks for the help. I think I speak for all the editors, when you put so much time into a roster like this after a while you stop seeing things because you have looked at it so many times.

Once I get this I will turn around v1.2 relatively quickly, probably by around 11 tonight

Also, for V2, there are two more little fixes I assume you guys would be interested in making.

            1. In this past Monday's SCEA roster update, Todd Cunningham on Atlanta was given service time. On my personal set, I am just going to import him over and then give that version your ratings. If a Cunningham face was made, I am going to try to replicate that to the best of my abilities. You guys will most likely do a better job than I would in fixing Cunningham, though.

            2. Kyle McPherson (former Pirates prospect who had arm and shoulder issues ) is on the Rays in this roster. I double checked on MILB.com and have confirmed that he is a free agent who wasn't picked up after the Pirates designated him for assignment this past October. If I find a FA to replace McPherson I'll update my post later.

If it's ok with you Willard, I'd be more than happy to toss a file up later tonight before I start my franchise with the little edits and transaction updates I am going to perform.

Thanks again for an awesome roster set!
Smp- are you making a roster with no injured players? I know there are players on the 60 day DL not on the 40 man.. Will you be moving these players onto the 40 man for your set?

Re: 2015 OSFM REVISION ROSTER v1 - Released

Willard if you're making small corrections to upload later I can offer some from the Phillies.

-Ken Giles is a RP as he should be but hes listed in the starting rotation when he's a back end bullpen guy. Could be because you only had 4 SP on the Phils roster. Move Severino Gonzalez up and RP Hector Neris down.

-LF Cody Asche should be up to MLB now, Grady Sizemore was DFA'd.

-3B Jayson Nix has an extra space after his first name causing a big gap (this was in OSFM)

-there are also a few numbers that got messed up I'm sure from all the roster maneuvering. Most notably Maikel Franco should be #7

Again not sure if you want this info or not, just trying to help out if you're gonna upload another one

Sorry for the wait guys, something came up. But I just PM'ed Willard with some updates and updated transactions (the dodgers-braves trade and the Pegeuro trade to Boston). Hope you guys enjoy v1.2 once Willard posts it!

Great work guys? Will the 60 day DL guys that have been moved to A ball be called up at some point during the season by the cpu ( if you have your management stuff on auto) or do you have to do it manually?

Willard, is there anything you need me to do for V1.2? I can probably get working on it around 12:30 or so. I wanna wait to start my 'chise with 1.2, so I'm down for a tad more editing.

Manually unless you have a weird set of injuries.

Re: 2015 OSFM REVISION ROSTER v1 - Released

I have a few questions concerning ratings. While I was editing, I was surprised by 4 things.

                              1. The extremely high power ratings some prospects have (i.e. players like O'Brien, Gallo who have power ratings in the high 80s and 90s). Granted, players like O'Brien, etc. can rake, and their contact ratings are accurate for the most part, but it seems that 80 or so power would be a reasonable maximum threshold for a player that is still going to develop in the minors.

                              2. Cargo's stats.

                              3. Michael Mckhenry's stats.

                              4. Marlon Byrd

I realize in a projection-based format, overall ratings aren't important, but for Cargo to be a 98 overall with plus fielding, 70+ contact from both sides of the plate, 80+ power from both sides of the plate, etc. makes me feel like we are playing MLB the Show 11 or 12. Especially considering Cargo hit .238 last year with 11 homers in 70 games and is hitting .212 this season with just 4 dingers.

Mckhenry did have an awesome 2014, but for his career he is a .230 or .240 hitter with limited power.

Bryd's aren't a huge gripe for me, as he has raked ever since turning 35. But I could make an argument he is rated a little high, especially in the contact department. Luckily, in Byrd's case, he is going to regress quickly, so it might be better he is rated a little higher.

Don't get me wrong, I know projections are just that, and I'm not criticizing this amazing roster. I just wanted to see if I could pick the brains of those who went about creating the roster.

Re: 2015 OSFM REVISION ROSTER v1 - Released

The roster looks awesome, just wanna say thank you to Willard and all those who contributed to it.

As with any roster of course there's always things that go overlooked so I thought I'd give a heads up on a few issues I found in the Cubs organization.

First, C.J. Edwards is now going by Carl Edwards, Jr., it's a simple edit anyone can do themselves but just so you guys know in case you want to change it. Also, he's apparently being used strictly in relief now as he's been in the pen all season in Tennessee and just got promoted to Iowa with the intentions of using him in the same role (possible CP candidate?).

Second, I see Addison Russell's primary position is 2B but I think the feeling is that ultimately he will wind up back at short in the near future one way or another so maybe keep his primary position as SS?

Finally, Jae-Hoon Ha, who you have as a Class-A CF has been converted to a RP pitcher and is currently getting a feel for it in extended spring training.

That's pretty much all I see in the Cubs organization that needs fixing.

Again, great job with the rosters.
