30 team control is no different than a single team franchise. You're making it out to be more complicated than it really is. There's more work with force trades. With 30 team control and instant trades turned off you can prevent a trade before it even happens. It gives you an option to decline a trade, accept, or make adjustments for CPU/CPU trades. All while controlling your own team.

Re: 2015 OSFM REVISION ROSTER v1 - Released
I just think Keuchel is a prime example of one of the more disappointing aspects of having a preseason projection based rating released this far into the season. Keuchel I imagine would be projected for an ERA around 4 with more hits allowed than IP, and his stats in this roster probably bear that out. But a lot of people are already "used to" him being better than that and think something is wrong with the roster. In this roster's "world" 99% of the time Keuchel isn't going to end up like he really has in 2015.
The roster isn't a stats update for 5/30/15, it's a more accurate roster for opening day.
I do agree, now that said, the reason we don't jump all over updating numbers early - especially pitchers is they can always come back to the norm which is ZiPs projections anticipate. I usually wait until mid June to see where guys are at. Remember in the game players will have career high and low years just like real life.
The point of using ratings such as these is to give you the norm for each player to start your season. I will probably do an update set at some point as I have in the past but right now you guys will have to adjust yourselves if you aren't completely happy, but remember that guy could still post better stats then his ratings say.
Hey Willard, what exactly is version 2 going to consist of? A couple of tweaks and updates, 3 CP's on every team, and contract updates? Sorry i was looking for it but never saw anything on it. Or are you not doing an update? Is someone else taking over, like Totte? Thanks
To clarify - v1.2 will contain corrections, closing pitchers if I get the list soon and transaction updates.
v2 will contain real life contracts

Simply the OSFM pure rosters are just minors added to SCEA default rosters. To see everything we add into this please read the first post.

I just like the feel of controlling my team and my team only. I let the CPU do its thing, and if any lopsided trades take place, then I correct them....and even at that point I rarely adjust anything.
Just my personal preference though. 30 team control is an awesome option to have and it adds a TON to the game for those who enjoy using it.Comment

Re: 2015 OSFM REVISION ROSTER v1 - Released
No issues on my end. Basically OSFM is base roster with added minor leaguers. This roster edits just about everything including the minors for max realism
Uzr I think was one. WTNY and Teeds did that end.

Re: 2015 OSFM REVISION ROSTER v1 - Released
Is it recommended to use these rosters with default sliders and adjust as needed? Thinking the pitch edits could have a major impact on hitting if the speed gap between fastballs and change ups has been altered to be more realistic. Thinking other global edits (ie defensive ratings) could have a significant impact as well. Any thoughts would be appreciated. Thanks for working on and releasing these rosters!!Comment
