That's probably the only thing I will change since you and your team did such an amazing job thank you.
Just a warning, a few others are missing as well. Haven't looked that much.

And yeah, the only thing Reyes had to do was show the capability to control his stuff and he became an A prospect. He's Carlos Martinez in Shelby Miller's body.

Re: 2015 OSFM REVISION ROSTER v1 - Released

With 0 stamina and manager hook at 10, I usually get the league leaders around 12-14 complete games, the average around 6, and the trailers around 2 or 3.

I have been getting roughly 10 players who hit over .300 with the league leaders around .330

      About 4-5 guys with 40 HR's and 12-15 with 30

About 10 guys with 100 RBI's and a few guys with 100 runs scored.

About 10 players with a .900 OPS and Trout, Tulowitzki, etc will occasionally pull a 1.000+ OPS.

      About 10 guys with 200 K's pitching and about 15 guys with 200 IP with a steady drop to 190, 180, 170, 160, etc.

League wide batting average is really good. .270 at the high end. A few teams in the .260's...lots of .250's....a handful of .240's and a few .230's at the end, usually 1-3 teams.

      League ERA is around 3.70

Strikeouts range from 1100 to 1400, which is perfect.

      This lasts until roughly 2018-2019

At that point, all of the overrated pitching prospects come in and ruin the entire franchise.

There is no way around it, someone needs to take every pitching prospect/young pitcher in the game and knock them down about 5-10 potential points.

So I actually looked this dude up.

He is a 55 rated prospect. Fastball is 60/65, Curve is 50/60, Change is 45/50, command is 40/45+....overall 55.

Really nice strikeout numbers in rookie ball and A ball. Also a ton of walks.

This season in high A as a 20 y/o (which is impressive), he is basically still the same guy. Lots of K's and lots of BB's.

This dude is a dime a dozen as a prospect. Lots of guys strikeout A ball hitters. Command looks like it needs a lot of work if he is gonna continue as a starter.

I think he is should be an 80 potential at best as a starter in this game.

Looks good man! I'm in the process of lowering all drafted pitchers' potential by -20. I'm in the first offseason now. Vaguely looked at stats but Votto won batting title at .330...seems low?

When I get off work tonight I'm gonna sim a lot of seasons with always editing potentials and I'll post stats prolly by tmrrw sometime, maybe late tonight.

The highest potential I saw was a 92 and 90. So they are now 72 and 70. With the progression I'm guessing only one or two SP aces from this draft class with my edits. Doesnt take long either as some teams didn't draft a pitcher.

Oh and I forgot to lower Starter stamina to 0 that first season. Will do that and manager hook to 10. I didn't think those affected simmed games tho??

That sounds about right for Votto and the league leader. Not bad at all.

And the edits on drafted pitchers is actually a lot quicker than I thought. I can get it done fairly quickly because all you really need to change is the potential.

I might customize the Revision Roster slightly for my own franchise by dropping all the pitchers who are in the minors by about 5-10 potential points.

Other than that, the results have been great.

People say that it isnt supposed to, but it clearly has been for me.

Sim a season with stamina at 5 and hook at 5, then sim a season with stamina at 0 and hook at 10.

The complete games, and total IP numbers go way down to realistic numbers.

He certainly isnt an A potential. Sorry.

That should be reserved for Urias, Giolito, Syndergaard, etc..

Even Tailon and Glasnow from the Pirates needed to be dropped quite a bit.

Reyes probably ends up as a back end rotation starter with control issues, or he will be a bullpen guy.

                    Probably a bullpen guy.

You have to understand that the players typically end up wherever you place their potential.

The top, top guys should be 90's

Outside of that, most top prospects should be 85 or lower...mostly low 80's for top 50 guys and high to mid 70's for other top 100 guys.

If they arent top 100 prospects, then you should be placing them in the low 70's potential.

I might make a roster with an actual system to it for potentials based off of fangraphs ranking by Kiley McDaniel.

What about contact slider cuz I play games with that on 3 for cpu and human? Or is it just global sliders and cpu only sliders? Might explain my low BA

Contact Sliders definitely impact actual games played.

Possibly for simmed games. I usually just leave it at 5, so I havent tested it out yet. Might be something to look into.

                          http://www.fangraphs.com/blogs/the-f...prospect-list/

That is the top 200 prospects in baseball.

The top 2 guys have a 70 future value. They should have 95 potential.

The next 6 have a FV of 65. They should be 90 potential or "A" potential.

                          That is it. 8 guys.

Then there are 20 guys with 60 FV, probably good for an 85 potential in the game.

Then there are 51 guys with a 55 FV, probably good for an 80 potential in the game.

Then there are 63 guys with a 50 FV, probably good for a 75 potential in the game.

Then there are 58 guys with a 45 FV, probably good for a 70 potential in the game.

That would make up all of the C level prospects.

Here is a visual of how it should be distributed...

EDIT: Yeah, I've never done a roster before and I have no idea when it will be posted, but I'm totally gonna make this adjustment to the roster and upload it.

Using this system. I'm just gonna go by 5's and go down the list. Anyone who is not a "prospect" gets a 65.

Anyone former prospects get the rating they had from Kiley as a prospect, or possibly an adjustment if they are veterans.

0 when simming so far, but I really dont know how much impact it makes.

I'm not a sliders genius like some of the people in that forum. I would ask any sliders questions you have in that area if you want a detailed intelligent answer.

I am mostly just guessing and checking. lol

No that works for me. My game play sliders are where I want them, so I'm glad I came across this so I can change them for games I don't play. First game into franchise I noticed there were 8 complete games. So seeing the changes and results are a relief.

Me remembering to change the sliders for when I play the game are a different story haha
