I am LOVING this roster set! Been playing with nothing but this set since I found it. I was born in 1975, so it predates my entry into baseball fandom in the early 1980's, but as an amateur baseball historian, I know who most of these players are. Your attention to detail is awesome. Last night I played a World Series between Boston and Pittsburgh, complete with the amazing throwback uniforms. Pirates won in a sweep, but it was an epic series. Each game was decided by a single run, and games 2-4 went to extra innings. The clincher was decided on a walkoff single by Manny Sanguillen in the BOTTOM OF THE 17th!!! So great! Thank you, thank you, thank you!

Thank you monteith.....
DEFINITELY glad to hear you are enjoying this set(well...work in progress)
I'm confident that you guys will love the finished product.
I'm glad you mentioned attention to detail as I do feel I take extra time to research multiple sources and get things as right as I can....so thank you again.
I can't tell you how much it kills me that just using a Create-A-Player as my base would have given me the no-flap helmet....I just found out too late.....but it gnaws at me now.
It won't happen for the '65 set don!

Re: Turn Back the Clock: 1975
Knight, I'm with you. I'm a child of the 70's and back then baseball was at its best. Growing up outside of NYC I was a huge Mets fan. Watched them all the time on WOR channel 9. I feel your pain in regards to the two occasions you mentioned. Even worse for me was Rusty get traded to the Tigers. How could MY team trade MY favorite player??? My wife laughs at me because I can remember EVERY player, stat, game etc... From 70's sports yet forget what we had for dinner last night!!! As great as these classic rosters are to play, my favorite thing about them is how they bring me back to my youth. When sports were just sports... not salaries, drugs, who's sleeping with who... when at least to an 8 year old they played the game for the sake of playing. Keep up the great work. When these are finished I'll play a season with MY Mets and remember a better time.Comment

Re: Turn Back the Clock: 1975
Ha....ep....those things were all still present...we just didn't hear about them!
Update:
I finished up the Expos last night....good old Bombo Rivera!
I really hate that everything Expos is gone.
Playing without the uni's is a drag.
(please...please give us a uniform editor soon)
Surprisingly.....they gave the Mets a run for the money in the test sim I ran...(but there is just no way to really test this aspect until all teams are completed....I was just getting to as late a game in the season as possible to play)...
Philly had the division and both the Mets/Expos were tied for second but still missed the playoffs.
Which brings me to the other big wish.....custom season/franchise setup....
This would be SOOOOOOO much better if I could keep teams from being in the league and of course having the teams in the correct division/league(Astros.....Brewers)
I picked the Orioles to play....and the 'Spos crushed Mike Flanagan scoring six runs on him in the first...and leading off the second with a double...(that was it for him)
Steve Rogers went a strong 7 ....and the Expos took it easily 7-1.
Even with the wrong uni's and stadium...it was fun to see Gary Carter in RF as a young man. (:*()
I know I said Braves...but on to the Astros! I need another ugly uniform to use!

Re: Turn Back the Clock: 1975
You're dead on. We didn't hear about it. The GAME is what mattered. I'm glad I didn't know Parker used coke, Garvey was an adulterer, and Rose gambled. The game was better for it.
I also second (and third) your call for uniform editors and custom div/leaguesComment

Re: Turn Back the Clock: 1975
I think its TBC 1975. Just look for Knight165. If you click on sort by history and highest rating it should be on the 1st page. I can't imagine who or why some are disliking it. Should be 100%Steelers, Penguins, Penn State, Pirates, Red Sox, Manchester United.Comment

Re: Turn Back the Clock: 1975
I fixed your post below, Knight.
Just busting your chops! Can't wait till the final product. Like the earlier poster, I too was born in '75. My final project in college art class was to include 3 things that told a story. My 3 things were a baseball, a foul pole, and Fisk. I need to find that old drawing - it's around here somewhere!

I'm tryin'!
Well ....I skipped the Astros AND the Braves and went with the Brewers.
I should have them finished by tomorrow and then I WILL do the Braves to finish up the N.L. teams(well....the N.L. as the GAME has it...grrrrrr....)
