Just downloaded and simmed through a season. Red Sox beat Reds in seven game World Series. You almost had it.

    Just kidding. :-D

Great roster set! Thanks a million for all your hard work!

      Knight,

Superb Roster as all of yours are.

I have uploaded into the Vault: Knights 1975 filled; 6 Exp Teams Filled

I did a balanced draft and placed most of your players in the Minors on the 6 Non Existing Teams. The only adjustments were making some of the Relief Pitchers Starters and making certain those had at least a Stamina of 51.

If you would rather me take this out of the Vault just let me know and it will vanish quickly.

Thanks Again for this fabulous Year,
      Don

        No don....that's great.
Although I feel like my rosters are like my dogs...my babies....I don't covet them. When I put them out....I actually like if guys tweak/fix/add...anything to them.

Any feedback on them is welcomed.

        Thanks guys!(and gals?)

Re: Turn Back the Clock: 1975

Just wanted to share my Game 1....

After months of editing....I finally started my season as manager of the New York Mets.

          Tom Seaver vs. Steve Rogers.

Seaver was his usual dominant self starting the game with 2 K's.
In the third inning Montreal 2B Pete McKinin(sp?....the current Philly manager I believe) walked and stole 2B.....he then moved to 3rd on a sac fly and scored on another sac fly. Great manufactured run.
The Mets were pretty weak at the plate and going into the 7th were still down 1-0. With Jerry Grote on 2nd after a single and fielders choice....I pinch hit for Del Unser when the Expos brought in a lefty using Bud Harrelson who hit an RBI double to tie it.
With the game still tied at one in the eighth ......I pinch hit for my reliever(I double switched Seaver out) with John Milner. He had Felix Millan on 1B and hit a pinch hit HR to put the Mets up 3-1.
I was using Skip Lockwood in relief but turned to Bob Apodaca for the ninth.
He promptly gave up a walk to Manguel and a single to Tim Foli bringing up RF Gary Carter(that's right....the Kid started as an OF/C early in his career) and in a strange way....I was hoping for one of my favorite players of all time to jack one out of the park. He did for a walk of 3 run HR.
          Fitting tribute I thought.
(although if I lose a playoff spot by 1/2 game....I'll be pissed )

Trolls are voting this down. Not that it's that big a deal, but if you haven't voted, please give this some love with a thumbs up. Can only vote once.

I think you already know that the Vault votes aren't something I really care about.
I'm much more concerned with the guys here on O.S. and on The Show's website as those are the opinions I value.
              But I do appreciate it.

Yeah we all know how fantastic your work is, Knight! Us classic roster makers have to stick together lol. With you back in business, I can't wait to get a hold of this set when I move to MLB 15. Thanks for your efforts.
Pitching, defense and 2 out RBIs win a lot of ball games!

                  Awesome set as usual!

Noticed one item - Harper on Angels was number 31...not 81. I don't think 31 is a retired number for Angels.

9 games into a season w/ the reds and so far I've played the cards and cubs and soon the brew crew...everything has been AWESOME so far! Love how everyone has authentic gear...Bench started slow going hitless in first 3 games only to explode for 5 home runs and now batting over .300 and George Foster has been killing for me hitting damn near .400. 7-2 atm and loving every minute of it. As soon as 65 is done I'll likely be adding another season to play

                        Thank you guys......

Number 81 means I just missed changing their number. That is the number I gave the generic base guy.

                        Thank you.

Just a heads up that I took Knight's file into a franchise with fantasy draft and the game rebooted with an error code. However, if I took Don's in it was ok. I don't know what that is about or if it is only a fluke thing for me, but I wanted to let you know. Many people won't fantasy draft this roster anyway and I realize that, but I ended up taking Don's and renaming all of the duplicates that were on the 6 exp teams so that I wouldn't have two of the same named player. I can upload to vault if anyone cares, if not thanks again for the work Knight.

I was going to do the same, rename players from missing teams. That would be great if you can up load your roster if ok with knight?
                            Thanks

I will upload later today. Keep in mind I only renamed the last names of the players that Don had duplicated so all of the John Doe's still exist. I just fixed it real quick so that I could get to playing. It will be under jtyler83 and I will post by 6 pm Eastern. Thanks.
