how in the hell do i move aaron brooks from a's to cubs? i can trade him but not without sending someone from the cubs back. i cant seem to be able to release brooks to free agency either. is their something my ******** *** is doing wrong? thank you for your time sir.

A lot of the suggestions I'm seeing in here aren't really relevant....


1. They never claimed to have or want accurate contracts in OSFM (they don't).

2. They never claimed to add in state-by-state birthplaces (they didn't--that should be pretty obvious by the randomness you're seeing).

3. They aren't putting in all 30 prospects on your team's Top 30 list--there's only 90 spaces, so there's no room for that. The younger ones are being left out on purpose.

4. They don't update SCEA players...so if it's a SCEA player and the face or ratings are bad, it's not their issue.


I feel like it would be a lot easier to get important corrections/info out of this thread if people were made aware of a few of these things.

You answered most of my questions from earlier .... but can someone please answer if the roster is supposed to include trades and injuries that happened after start of season or if its opening day? Really just curious I have no preference.

Isn't Donald Lutz playing in Australia? Who cares what position he plays, lol.

You answered most of my questions from earlier .... but can someone please answer if the roster is supposed to include trades and injuries that happened after start of season or if its opening day? Really just curious I have no preference.

Supposed to be current on transactions. Not Opening Day.

Amir Garrett (SP) - rated way too low, he's top 5 prospect on the team and was in futures game last year

Zack Weiss (RP) - #21 prospect should be in the game, will be with team by the end of the year.

thank you... i've waited and been happy to wait for these rosters....blows my mind how many people get upset about how long it takes to get them done, then complain after.

My only request and question..is there an excel that lists the rosters for each team? I am ready to play my mets and am looking forward to seeing how spot on you are, before downloading and beginning

If you're doing it from the main menu, then no you cant outright release them. You gotta either trade players to another team or select someone from the FA list. If you were doing this in franchise mode, then yes you can release them to FA without needing to add someone to take his spot.

the cubs traded chris coghlan to the a's for aaron brooks but in the game both players are on the a's. so if i start a franchise i will be able to send brooks to the cubs? and thank you for your reply sir.

Thank you all for your hard work and dedication. This game would be disappointing without your rosters. For V2, here is some Astros help that I noticed. I care more about the players being there instead of their number, birthplace etc. Just my opinion, not knocking anybody for what they like in their game.

Astros:
Wandy Rodriquez - not with the team
Leo Heras - playing in Mexico
Brian Holberton - no longer with organization
Jonas Dufek- no longer with the organization
Kyle Westwood- with the Blue Jays

Not sure if it changes anything:
Tyson Perez is on the 60 day DL unlikely to pitch this year
Chris Cotton is recovering from surgery, same with Albert Minnis.

Missing:
James Hoyt
Akeem Bostick
Albert Abreu (on their top 20)
Gilberto Celestino (on their top 20)
Franklin Perez (on their top 20)

If you wanted to adjust overalls, I think AJ Reed and Joe Musgrove are low at only 58's I believe. But, awesome job and I love it. Thank you again.

Yes but that's assuming you're also controlling the Cubs in your franchise mode.
