Re: OSFM V1 Corrections Thread
Cincinnati Reds Issues:
A few guys from the 40-man roster are missing:
Kyle Skipworth #68 - Catcher
Yorman Rodriguez #33 - Outfield (he is also their #13 prospect)
Minor Leagues/Prospects Missing:
Layne Somsen (RP) - is missing from AAA roster
Nick Travieso (SP) (#9 prospect) - is missing from AA roster
Zach Weiss (RP) (#21 prospect) - is missing from AA roster
A few other small things:
Dan Straily (SP) - should be #58 (instead of #47)
Robert Stephenson (SP) - is from California (not Rhode Island)
Amir Garrett (SP) - is on the roster but severely underrated (worst player on the entire Reds roster!) even though he is their #4 prospect
Adam Duvall - primary position should be LF not 1B
Jesse Winker (LF) - from New York (not Missouri)
Chad Rogers (RP) - is no longer with the organization
Jesse Biddle and Kyle Skipworth and Yorman Rodriguez are in FAComment

Re: OSFM V1 Corrections Thread
First off, excellent work fellas. Some of these CAP's are pretty damn good. And its amazing how deep these rosters are with MILB players.
I have two concerns I wanted to toss out there and would be curious to get some feedback. First, the SP stamima is a little low on alot of young pitchers. It would be spot on if there was progression in this category but unfortuately I havent seen any.
In the multiple tests I ran before getting these rosters, 4-5 years down the road SP's do not get any additional stamina from a progression standpoint. So, you basically have to max out how much stamina an SP will have otherwise he'll be stuck at where he currently is. For example, if a 19 year old prospect SP is a 58 in Stamina then thats what hes always going to be.
Not sure if this is a bug or a glitch because I feel like there was always progression in Stamina in previous years but thats what Ive seen in multiple tests that Ive ran. If Im wrong, please let me know. Id be interested if the team was aware of that and if it was taken under consideration.
Second, it just seems theres a ton of Birthplaces off and Im wondering if maybe there was some sort of issue uploading them or what may have happened there. Or possibly just doing that many players breeds mistakes. I just wanted to raise it because Ive just seen alot of them.
This is all meant to be constructive obviously. You guys are amazing for the work you do. And these rosters overall are awesome to have. I have no problem going through and making them my own but before I do that, Id like to get some feedback on these things. Specifically, the SP Stamina issue.
Thanks again!Comment

Re: OSFM V1 Corrections Thread
Astros
1B Tyler White is #13
I know y'all don't like rating things, but 1B AJ Reed is the top ranked 1st base prospect in baseball and is rated in the 50s which seems very low, especially his power ratings.Comment

Re: OSFM V1 Corrections Thread
Ok first of all I apologize if this is a dumb question - this is my first year using the OSFM Roster .... but what all is supposed to be accurate in this roster, because some people are posting things that I didn't know was part of it (like a top 20 prospect for a team that is not on AA or AAA rosters - I know you guys are trying to get a few top prospects in - but top 20 at a team lvl come on - who expects that?).
My understanding (Please tell me if wrong):
All missing pros added
Roster Changes like Trades etc during spring training updated
AA/AAA Rosters have real 25 man rosters
MLB 25 man opening day roster???? (Is it opening day or does it incorporate recent trades and injuries from after opening day)
A few prospects sprinkled in A with serious injuries also in A
-Are Birth Places really a part of it? I am not looking that deep.
-Also Ratings are not bugs .... seems like they are what they are, if you think person xyz is a better player than what came through - edit yourself.
One thing I did notice on my team .....
San Diego Padres
Travis Jankowski - CF - is on 25 man MLB roster and has been since opening day (He is on AAA in the file).Last edited by lion575a; 04-17-2016, 06:58 PM.Comment

Re: OSFM V1 Corrections Thread
Figured there may be a bug of some sort. Wouldnt make sense for them to be that off. I wouldnt care about birthplaces personally but because its tied to Morale Ill probably go in and try to edit at least the top 100 or so prospects.Comment
