If you (or anyone else for that matter) is interested in a 30-team master file of each 40-man roster as of Opening Day 2016, I've made one.

Unfortunately, I hadn't gathered all this information when I should have, on April 3 or 4. Well, I knew Atlanta's like the back of my hand, along with who was at which level, but that was because I knew I'd be playing them, so I wanted theirs perfect. I wasn't thinking that I'd want the same for the other 29 teams, though. So, the past couple nights I've been pulling up each team's 40-man from mlb.com, and then researching backwards to figure out who (if any) have been added to it after Opening Day, and removing them from it (and then figuring out if they possibly belong on another team's).

I know there's a way to share things with Google docs by way of putting a link to my file in this post, but I just don't know how to do it. So, for anyone that wants it, message me privately and I can certainly email it to you.

Also, my lists probably aren't 100 percent perfect (though I have to imagine they're very close). I will say that anyone on the list is probably correct, though. What's more likely is that someone's been left off, but seeing that for 20 of the 30 teams I have come up with exactly 40 (and again, I am pretty positive those are correct), it may simply be that some of the other ten teams just don't have 40 men on it (or at least didn't on April 3). If anyone finds that I'm missing anyone on those ten teams though, let me know. I'd love to make this more complete.

Oh, I also didn't specify who was on the active 25-man roster. That just would've taken too much more time. In a perfect world I'd be able to spend three to four hours per team to list who was on the 25-man, who was on the 40, who was at AAA, AA, and A, and write the starting lineup vRHP and vLHP (with and without the DH) for all three clubs, but then I'd be doing this until June or July!

In summary, what my spreadsheet has for each team are those 40 (or 38 or 39, in some cases) players that are on their respective clubs 40-man rosters on April 3, 2016. Additionally, I put the player's name in bold if he was on the 15-man DL on Opening Day. Those on the 60-man are left out, as that's not part of the 40-man roster.

In combination with this post from Majestic24 a couple weeks ago and JB12780's repost of HustlinOwl's video from two years ago about how to set up 30-team control, this will be an awesome tool for those wanting to start their franchises just as they have in real life.

Agreed. Don't wanna derail the thread but my only issue is finding the time in the day. I work, I've got a wife and a seven year old boy... It seems like my days no longer have 24 hours in them and too many days go by between my opportunities to sit and play for any extended amount of time. Am I alone in this one? How do you all deal with this?

Started my franchise... only 2 series in, and I'm going to just quit and put it on hold until these come out. I do this every year, even though I say I won't. LOL. Can't wait for V2. Then I'm definitely going to push forward with a franchise without restarting. At least I think I will...
