Definitely hoping that we get A LOT more customization options like 2k.

And yeah, I've gone back & forth about what I really think the direction is for franchise. Unfortunately, we didn't get a new video yesterday but hopefully we hear ANYTHING new about franchise mode in MLB21.

The direction seems to be a huge unknown right now.

I always give SDS the benefit of the doubt, but my gut (which has never lied to me) tells me they are really following the money with DD and looking to appeal to the tick tock generation of video gamers.

Think about how incredibly small our niche group of franchise players is.

I am talking about those of us who revel in the idea of playing every pitch of every inning for 162 games.

Everything we have seen in terms of meaningful franchise updates has been features to speed up the game.

Quick manage (which is a great feature BTW to use in minor league games)
Critical moments
Phases
March To October

The feature they gave us was Y2Y saves because they appreciated our dedication to playing every game and Y2Y let us enjoy the yearly release while still playing in our franchise.

So let’s hope they simply come out and say “Y2Y” will return.

They haven’t.

Until they do I am out for a while. Because I love my franchises and all the content (including your work of art) we have at our disposal.

Bacon, your roster is awesome. I went with the Brewers and I’m sure you remember a player by the name of Michael Hunt. Totally caught me off guard. Lmao. He hit a 2 run bomb in his second AB to tie the game. Going to be an awesome franchise if the first game is any indication. Thank you for your work on these!

Unsure! We waiting to hear from SDS if rosters will transfer without franchises moving forward. I may have to completely start fresh.

As I enter year 8 of my franchise with the O’s imma start looking around for guys who’ve developed. Monty Hillman is one, I will see how he’s done. Richards is probably going to retire and Paul Keys will be turning 35.
