Now that the rosters are up, awesome work btw, I have a question.

I noticed last year that injured players were put in class A, and that AI teams in my franchise didn’t promote them? If this is still the case this year, can anyone give me a tip on what I need to do to get these guys to MLB level?

I really hope so. I was so excited to hear OSFM was going to be 40 man out of the gate, disappointed it will be 25 but I get it, these guys were under pressure to hit their deadline. I can set my own teams 40, but I'm not certain that other teams automatically do (they didn't in the past) in franchise.

I really hope so. I was so excited to hear OSFM was going to be 40 man out of the gate, disappointed it will be 25 but I get it, these guys were under pressure to hit their deadline. So why not do a little work on your own and set them before you start? The info is out there...

Yeah the problem is with 25 man rosters. The CPU won't automatically call anyone up that's not on the 40. So if you have a superstar sitting in A ball "rehabbing" he'll stay down there all season because he isn't on the 40 man roster.

I had asked about a fix to that.. so if I add those guys to the 40, they’ll be called up? I’ll do the 40 man myself, shouldn’t be too difficult right?

Take control of all 30 teams, and when so-and-so comes back, go into their roster and bump him to MLB level.

Yes, add him to the 40 man and they will use that player.

I was 2nd DL. I am putting a 40 man Opening day roster together.That's what I'll use for my franchise.If SCEA adds players this week it would be great.Lots of new players debuted this week.I'm starting on it tonight and all day tomorrow. for those that prefer an exact OD 40 man with DL'ed players in A ball.I'm also removing legends and putting in FA from 17 that did or did not play in 17 but have good service & stats.All others I'll just edit to G G to be a future created player in FA.
