Personally dont care about 25 and 40 man lol. So many teams in the dumpster to choose a rebuild project. I just want the minors accurate lol.

40 man roster is more for those who wants to play the Spring Training, me for example

I prefer to make my own 40 man from the 25 man roster and play out spring training from there.

I'm assuming starting with the 25 man roster, that the CPU teams will eventually add players and fill out their 40 man rosters on their own?

If so, I may follow the suggestion of starting a franchise with the 25 man roster and creating my own personal 40 man roster rather than using what the 40 man was in real life, and leave the CPU teams to fill out their own 40 man rosters.

If the game behaves as it has in years past, the computer will only add people to the 40-man when it needs to (someone on the 25-man got injured or they made a 2 for 1 trade).
