Don't let a few bad apples spoil the bunch for the thousands of good apples who love and appreciate all the work (from this year and previous years work that is still paying off)!Comment

Now you're just being silly and completely missing the point. Since I have to spell it out for you.
I am in no way saying Ridin and them knew there would be duplicates and intetionally just said "screw it let them have an incomplete roster"
What I am saying is, don't say they are going to be the best ever and then I start a franchise and the rosters are a mess, not to mention the Blue Jays got neglected like the plague.
You obviously haven't been using these rosters for very long because we used to not get these rosters for months and now we get the weekend after wide release! I for one am greatful. Half the fun is going through all of the rosters and finding the mistakes and seeing how deep they really are.Comment

Look I knew the flaming would come haha, I was ready for it. It's fine.
And I'm just going to say one more thing on the subject because it needs to be addressed, since a lot of people are saying some unbelievably false things about me.
I am not entitled okay, I know they're are doing this for free. I know they don't owe me anything and I appreciate everything they are doing, year in year out. They put a lot of time into this project.
Ridin and the crew have done a great job, is Ridin as good as Knight was, no. I use these rosters too like everyone else, every year and this time I had a complaint about the rosters, no need to jump on me.Comment

Ridin, I got kinda caught up in explaining how a proofing process works and forgot to ask: Will William Contreras (Braves catcher) be in V1.5? Haven’t seen him in CAP vault and was gonna give it a shot at making him tonight if y’all don’t have him already.Comment

Also, would this be better, worse, or the same for RTTS purposes as the injured guys being in single A?
Thanks for your efforts!Comment

Like Ridin said there are very few mistakes compared to previous years. No one said they are perfect but they are the best OSFM ever. Duplicates are hard to spot when you have a million other things going on. You can blame me for that. A lot of the teams with duplicates were the teams I was working on. It’s hard to see when your eyes are burning from lack of sleep, all while sitting at home by yourself working on rosters skipping Easter dinner with the family. Don’t get me wrong I was happy to do it [emoji2]
Great job Ridin and Showtyme, these really are the best rosters to date.Last edited by tree3five; 04-02-2018, 05:13 PM.Comment

Re: OSFM 2018 “Opening Day Version” Available Now
Just joined recently but I have been using these rosters for 3 years now. I wanted to say thank you to Ridin & his team for putting all this together. The work is amazing & the dedication is unmatched.
I do have a question - When you guys do a rebuild, are you using the roster as is & rebuilding through Trades & Farm System or are you doing a Fantasy Draft to start?
Just trying to get different ideas
Thank you again!Comment

Re: OSFM 2018 “Opening Day Version” Available Now
Hey Ridin, I mentioned last night that I would get back to you with any changes that I thought should be made to the Twins roster. I had to wait til the opening day rosters were released by the minor league clubs, but I found a few changes that could be made. I can do these on my own if I have to.
-SP Yancarlos Baez (couldn't find him on any roster) Replace with Brady Anderson (High A pitcher, could see time in AA)
-SP Brusdar Graterol (In Rookie League, definitely won't see action above Low A) replace with Randy LeBlanc (Is in the AA Rotation)
-SP Blayne Enlow (Low A, probably won't see action in AA this year) replace with Cody Stashak (High A pitcher who pitched 6 innings at AA at the end of last year, will get the call if there's an injury)
-RP Sandy Lugo (Was released) Replace with Nick Anderson (made AAA roster in the bullpen)
If you only wanted to change one, change that one. Lugo isn't even in the organization anymore.
-C David Banuelos (Low A, might make High A, but probably not) replace with Mitchell Kranson (High A, would probably get promoted if a catcher was needed)
-SS Wander Javier (Rookie League, definitely won't make it to AA this year. They'd go with Lewis before Javier) replace with Sean Miller (Made AA Roster)
-RF Alex Krilloff (Low A, coming off injury. Baddoo would get promoted before him) replace with Zander Wiel (Made AA Roster)
Again, I can do these on my own if I have to, but definitely replace Sandy Lugo as he was released by the Twins like 10 days ago.
Thanks for everything you guys do, sorry for making such a long list haha.Comment
