Re: OSFM 2018 “Opening Day Version” Available Now

Just thought I would do a quick roundup of transactions and call-ups (if they're not in OSFM) for today.

    Orioles signed Michael Saunders
Orioles traded Stefan Crichton to the Diamondbacks.
Royals claimed Abraham Almonte from Indians

Marlins called up Trevor Richards (not yet in OSFM). I know this one has already been mentioned.

Also, for the Red Sox, Brian Johnson should be in the rotation and Marcus Walden in the bullpen. Not a big deal for me, I can just do it myself, but I thought I would let anyone know that might want to change that on theirs.

Also, someone else mentioned 3B Luis Torres on the Padres, the only position player by that name plays for the Red Sox and he's an outfielder, not sure if thats him or if this is a generic player.

Thanks. So is there a difference between what you are doing and what someone earlier offered to do where he said the injured players would be in single A? It sounds like you mean the same thing so I may just be confused again.

-SP Yancarlos Baez (couldn't find him on any roster) Replace with Brady Anderson (High A pitcher, could see time in AA)
-SP Brusdar Graterol (In Rookie League, definitely won't see action above Low A) replace with Randy LeBlanc (Is in the AA Rotation)
-SP Blayne Enlow (Low A, probably won't see action in AA this year) replace with Cody Stashak (High A pitcher who pitched 6 innings at AA at the end of last year, will get the call if there's an injury)
-RP Sandy Lugo (Was released) Replace with Nick Anderson (made AAA roster in the bullpen)

If you only wanted to change one, change that one. Lugo isn't even in the organization anymore.

-C David Banuelos (Low A, might make High A, but probably not) replace with Mitchell Kranson (High A, would probably get promoted if a catcher was needed)
-SS Wander Javier (Rookie League, definitely won't make it to AA this year. They'd go with Lewis before Javier) replace with Sean Miller (Made AA Roster)
-RF Alex Krilloff (Low A, coming off injury. Baddoo would get promoted before him) replace with Zander Wiel (Made AA Roster)

Again, I can do these on my own if I have to, but definitely replace Sandy Lugo as he was released by the Twins like 10 days ago.

Thanks for everything you guys do, sorry for making such a long list haha.

Graderol and Javier are top prospects ... they aren’t coming out..... you all have to understand the roster limits, can’t have all top prospects and all the triple A and double A guys we have limitations... we will see what we can get in

That's fine, I can change those myself, no big deal.

But why say they are going to be most accurate ever v1. It's just not true, they knew that. I knew that when the development on the rosters stalled because of the glitch.
It is true, there have been way more errors in v1's in years past. Remember this is a fan project, they don't make any money, they wanted to get them out to other fans, who then are able to see the mistakes and help them improve it. If they'd waited a week to release it so all team members could go through the rosters with a fine toothed comb I bet there still would of been errors that hadn't been caught, and people would of been mad about how long they took.

I would like to thank the roster creators for all their hardwork. The amount of sacrifice & time put into these is greatly appreciated, I'm looking forward to the update. I skipped last yrs Show due to time constraints in my personal life (first time ever), but picked up this yrs a few days ago. Game is amazing (like a old friend)& will be even better with the rosters!

There is a Richards that someone put in the vault last night, the pitches look good from what i have been able to find on him, but i think the overall and pot. may be a little high

It’s hard to see when your eyes are burning from lack of sleep, all while sitting at home by yourself working on rosters skipping Easter dinner with the family. Don’t get me wrong I was happy to do it [emoji2]

Great job Ridin and Showtyme, these really are the best rosters to date.
Not to mention the colors in this year's game (menus especially) affect your eyes.

Would anyone be able to make a couple CAPS of Red Sox prospects/minor leaguers Chad De La Guerra and Esteban Quiroz? De La Guerra's in AAA and Quiroz in AA. I would do them myself but I suck at CAPS.

Thanks in advance if you can.

I just wanted to say thank you to everyone who worked on the roster. Without the time and work that you all put into this it would just be impossible to have a meaningful or enjoyable franchise. In my opinion, OSFM is the most vital part of each years game.

What is the best way to set up franchise so the cpu doesn't mess up the lineups and 40 man rosters?
