I might possibly put out an update for a few of the guys added to the 40 man after the last update that weren't in the roster, plus we'll see all the SCEA additions if they release an update Friday.

I've been trying out these rosters for a week or so. I typically use regular OSFM rosters and it's been a blast! Different, in lots of good ways.

However, as a Jays fan, I'll admit I'm a bit irked by one little detail.

Vladimir Guerrero Jr!

He's been held down a little bit, in my opinion. It's widely known that he's only being held down to AAA for contract reasons. In fact, Steamer projections say if he was in the Major Leagues today, he'd be the 18th best hitter in the entire major leagues. He has an 80 grade power prospect as well.

So what gives with his in-game ratings? Compared to other young studs with similar projections, he seems very lukewarm. At the very least, his power deserves more credit. With his current set of tools he tends to develop into a contact hitter.

Just curious what the reasoning is! You put in a lot of work and I trust your opinions, just want to hear them.

The calculator has multipliers built in per level, so he is at the AAA level and has that modifier applied to him, as it is with all other players. I don't have the game on, but I believe he is roughly a mid to high 70s overall. If he was MLB level, I'd say he'd be boosted slightly to 80sh. I have no issues with his current rating. Soto and Acuna have both come to the majors and dominated which warrants their boosted ratings. Vlad needs to come up and prove it at the MLB level, just like the other prospects.

No problem man, glad I could help. Also, consider the weight of the 2018 stats are only through about half the season, so his power breakout this season still hasn't caught up, so to speak, in the ratings. 2017 still has a heavy influence on ratings, 2017 HR total was 13, 2018 is 20. Based on that, I'd say once the calc gets updated for a full 2018 and once this season is programmed to be the highest weighted year, it'll boost his power.

Great job on the update people. I really like the Pitch Edits exchanging the RFB for 4SFB and the same for the SCrv' was huge for me. Keep up the good work!
