The whole "You can't call it OSFM" is the dumbest thing ever. Don't they know how the internet works? There are going to be a ton of roster files called OSFM in the vault. The roster file we are talking about in this thread will get renamed OSFM.

        OSFM for MLB 19

I might copy faces from some of cujos and Motown caps, including others from last season or by exporting them from my franchise mode from last season or from the beginning of this season from my current franchise mode, especially if the players faces can be edited similar to last season, example let’s say Gleyber Torres doesn’t have a face scan, but can be edited and it has SCEA first and last name audio that’s hidden, I’ll just copy the face from Cujos player model, but he still deserves all credit, since it’s originally his and you’ll be able to keep the actual career stats prior to the start of the season, that’s only if the SCEA player face model can be edited, like on some of last season’s SCEA players that were just editable. I’ll see, Especially if I’m just adding for my roster download, if anything I’ll try to put some of the players in the vault then if I can. Hopefully this helps a little.

If you guys want help with anything including face work, let me know. I will more than likely be picking up the game day of release and have more spare time now then I did a few years ago when I took a step back from doing the Hybrid and helping out Knight and Ridin. It looks like this will be the new OSFM so I say let’s make sure we cover all bases and make a great roster for the community.

I have just put in for Leave for the day after the game comes out. so that day I am going to be spending the entire day exporting and importing players across. from mlb 18 to mlb 19. I can upload it when that is finished.

Meanwhile. if someone can take note of a list of vets that will be missing in the game (turn generic) so that they can be exported as well. then all someone would have to do is be able to edit the face for those players. then they can be exported in. all those players need is a face. because they will have all the career stats equipment etc.

I wish we knew now what players will be missing there is a missing players thread posted on here with a list of players. a lot of 50 50 guys we are waiting on to mark off the list.,

Once all that is finished. and the base is done someone can do re ratings. any tuning contract fixes etc.

but that is what I will be doing that entire first day exporting and importing like a mad man,

niner bud... So you have the main OSFM 18 roster now and that is the roster you'll be importing to 19 on the 26th correct?

It doesn't have to die out. Pick up the ball and run with it.

Seems like there will be conflicting roster sets going out. It's too bad that the current people working on it can't employ the help of the people willing to work on it now to speed up the completion date.

Please do Ridin. I'm sure your guys set this year will be amazing. This set is more to hold us over until your guys comes out. Plus we were advised that since your time is limited, this years set may be your last. Ideally this roster is a good dry run for next year if you decide not to put one out. I am sure next years will probably be based off of your 19 set. Any work you and the team share with us this year will not be wasted that I can promise you.

Guys I just wanna clarify on our end, we have said we are releasing a roster , we have hundreds of hours into rerates, faces equip and scouting reports and have intended to release a roster and will. We have said it will take longer because priorities have changed in the direction of the game and some guys have taken a step back.... We are happy you guys wanna do your own “OSFM” or whatever you will call it but please since none of the guys working on the orignal set are working on this dont advertise that its that as we have already had people asking questions about it... I understand the impatience and you guys can not wait to get started on your Franchises or whatever but we take the quality of what we release seriously and wont take short cuts so some people can play a few weeks early. We wish you guys well with whatver roster you do but again the original OSFM guys are still working on our roster and dont want any confusion as we take enough heat when we make mistakes after working on this set for 6-9 months every year.

I am, as I assume everyone else in this thread were thinking of this as more of a "lite" version of your guys rosters so we don't have to wait until summer to start our franchises. I am assuming that this version will be basically just a re-do of your guys '18 sets with some adjustments so we can get the ball rolling on our franchises. I don't know what they have planned but I am assuming as this is what Niner said. I know I for one will still be downloading your guys set and using it when it is out, and if you guys decide to do one next year I will support that one as well.

I respect you guys taking your time with this years set as I know you all of have other obligations (congrats by the way), and I can't wait to see what you guys did this year. When you said you guys were just going to be using them for personal use I nearly s$&@ a brick. That would be like finding the cure to cancer and not sharing it with the world lol

Whoever does a roster Feel free to use whatever you need of the CAPS I did last year. Also if someone comes up with a list of some key CAPS needed this year I can help out. With a family ps4 tv time was limited but I just started using the ps4 remote play on my laptop and it allows me a lot more ps4 time to make faces.

The only issue I may have is my sounds of the show partner might be too busy to help with The sounds of the show packs this year so if I’m on my own, my time will obviously be limited for roster help as that’s my first priority.

As I said in another thread, I’ve got the game early the last 5 years(hope I’m not jinxing it) so if I get it the Friday before my plan is to take the whole weekend and import all of the A and B prospects from last years OSFM along with all the blue jays caps and other teams caps I did last year. I don’t do rerates(not my thing) but it might help as a base.

It would be cool if you could do a few of the international guys that signed in the winter like Mesa Mesa of the marlins. I only used OSFM version 1 last year so I don't know if they were in Ridin end of the year set. I would say Mesa is pretty crucial since the marlins have a relatively week farm system

Well yes most of the players out of that from last year, but we have to age the players 1 year which isn't a issue.

But there will be new prospects that will also have to be created as well. so we actually start creating these players now as well to be imported over to 19

We can't do the missing Vets yet though till 19 comes out. they won't be exportable in 18, plus we have to wait to see what vets are missing.

and I will clarify as Ridin said, this is NOT OSFM it isn't the official thing that everyone used to get. this is just gonna be a roster to try and get out in April sometime until the actual REAL Ridin Roster release is. It's not going to be anywhere near as good as that, it's a quick fix to get people going for a few months.

Perhaps we could call it Community rosters project CRP. or something like that for Short.
