At 9, the variance in starter stamina was almost non-existant. This caused starter ERA, and runs/game to be below average. A #5 starter could pitch deep into games with little dropoff. Ryne Stanek, an opener, was able to pitch into the 6th inning in one of my games (he had a shutout going, but his pitch count was high).

At 3, with manager hook at 4, pitch counts matter more and so does starter stamina. Pitchers still get taken out at the appropriate times, depending on game context. The improvement lies in pitcher effectiveness over the course of the game.

    Awesome. Thanks!

Cycloniac, I can't wait to try your latest set of sliders with a few CPU vs CPU games. I'll post the scores and stats. Speaking of CPU vs CPU games, has anyone seen any injuries in non-simmed games that are played out?

Infield arm strength at 1 feels abnormally slow. What’s the reasoning behind it?

Out vs base hit balance on infield ground balls, to help tune double play frequency (along with runner speed), and to show the difference in arm strength more clearly among infielders

How often do injuries occur in this years game? In last years game injuries rarely occurred in-game even if the slider was up at 8 or 9. You would get a decent amount of injuries in the simmed games though. I would rarely have to call up pitchers from the minors due to injuries in last years game due to this.

Injury frequency in simmed games is excellent

Haven't seen any injuries in played games for a few years now
