Just wait what EA will do with the golf licence it will. Be “pay $5 for yellow balls” or clothes because what else can they do with mut modes with golf?

It’s true the average person doesn’t care about rosters they put in
The half go to DD mode ect.

Thankfully pga2k exists and it’s great. If ES goes that route they will get screwed because they have no competition. SDS or EA junior has no competition with The show so they are lazy

This is the way it used to be

25 MLB
25 AAA
25 AA
15 A

Then in 20 with new rules it went like this.

26 MLB
26 AAA
26 AA
12 A

So what SDS did was take 3 spots from the normal 15 and and added 1 player to each to make it 26 at

MLB
AAA
AA

So this year there's technically probably not 93. They added 3 back to make single A back to the normal 15.

My buddy confirmed for me. It is 93.

26/26/26/15 for 93.

They kept the 26 man rosters and bumped A ball back to 15.

All they needed to do was add 3 random players during the import process. This is database mgt 101. They didn't do it not for tech reasons, but because they didn't want to.

Any tech limitation could have been solutioned if they wanted us to import rosters. They don't want us to.

Maybe or it’s something to do with the Xbox not having old rosters so they can’t be bothered making one seperate feature, or they don’t want ps4 rosters in the vault for Xbox to grab??

I dunno but it’s a disaster as bad as madden 13 was right now with a stripped out game. Just hope they can recover from it madden never did (unless you love mut modes or Dd)

You may be right. Bottom line is there are probably multiple reasons...all which could have been solutioned. They chose not to.

Which is why I’m boycotting the game. I’ve purchased every mlb the show game since 2006 and I’m refusing to as a result of no carry over saves. diamond dynasty has ruined this game same with you tubers and twitch whatever the hell kids do these days.

Would it be possible to export the roster data to raw and transfer it? How about with that PS4 save program where you can share save files?

ACTUALLY ARMOR --- It May have JUST BEGUN ! MLB The Show 20 has a tremendous Quality & Quantity of Historical Rosters ..... Thus, like EA's MVP 2005 on the PC which thrived for > 10-12 years or so via the true Classic Baseball fans, "MLB The Show 20" has Just Begun its Reign of Supremacy for ALL True Classic Baseball fans (IF MLB The Sow 21 lets us down) !!!

Well I can see now why this game is the way it is, I looked on twitch, which I hardly even go on anymore, and looked at the mlb 21 section, and I see alot of the "big name" players that play ultimate team in madden are now playing dd.

Now there's no problem with them playing the game everyone is entitled to play what they like, however the problem lies, that "those Streamers are about Money Gains" DD mode will now be the main focal point of the show 100% guaranteed.

Those guys are all about big marketing, sponsorships and having the game tuned and patched to a level where "they feel" it needs to be.

It has been a known issue in madden and is why madden, went down hill and I suspect the same will happen to the show. You have to understand the weight some of these guys carry and some of the weight twitch carry as a broadcaster

These kids litterally idolize alot of these streamers and want to mimic litterally there every move, as a company they have eyes and ears, they see where the avenue is at in gaming and it looks likere there hopping on that train as well.

I hope im wrong but seeing what the past has brought in old games and seeing the trend whats going on in these new games, for players like myself that enjoys franchise and human vs a.i interaction, that seems a thing of the past.

Judging by the forums and what I have read, the show 21 is a pure disaster. Missing all kinds of stuff, key elements that should be in a game just because its apart of the real life sport. "No Night Games" Really? Smh lol

when I look back at mvp days and how long mvpmods took that game and just kept building and building on the foundation of what they had maybe that could be done on 20, but I think like Armor, and Don has said it looks to be a new wave and the development team seems to be going a different direction, today's release shows that clearly.

So im signing on out, but I wanted to say thank you to entirely every single modder that has created true gems in this game. Good luck

To the devs, thanks for making the game but yall could have done, a better job, where all fans of the game called Baseball and when you alienate your core base for so called future fame, better becareful what you ask and wish for, because that grass is not always greener on the other side.

But it proves one thing... Even if full A wasn't playable this proves they could have added it all along..... Because I have to assume the ps4 version has it.

I am doing my roster for 21 and not looking back.

This will by my last the show game. Was going to actually not get it but it was a gift so I can't really complain about that. I am sure it will play great on the field but I am not going to risk losing more features in the future.

Looks like we can't have more than 13 man pitching staffs... That's a big blow as many teams are doing 14 man staffs.

As I mentioned over on the classic roster FB group, they had a chance to make this the ultimate baseball title with MLB 21 coupled with the migration to PS5 and blew it...BIG TIME! League customization and some type of roster transfer would have sealed the deal and EVERYONE could have gotten something they wanted. Oh well... we'll always have Paris...
