Looks like we can't have more than 13 man pitching staffs... That's a big blow as many teams are doing 14 man staffs.

And to really stick it to us, if you load up a "live roster" exhibition game for an earlier day this season, the 14-man staffs are there...

This 13/14-man staff thing is just crazy to me. They're going to be pushing live rosters every day that are just... wrong? Seriously? Are they serious?

Well I can see now why this game is the way it is, I looked on twitch, which I hardly even go on anymore, and looked at the mlb 21 section, and I see alot of the "big name" players that play ultimate team in madden are now playing dd.

Now there's no problem with them playing the game everyone is entitled to play what they like, however the problem lies, that "those Streamers are about Money Gains" DD mode will now be the main focal point of the show 100% guaranteed.

Those guys are all about big marketing, sponsorships and having the game tuned and patched to a level where "they feel" it needs to be.

It has been a known issue in madden and is why madden, went down hill and I suspect the same will happen to the show. You have to understand the weight some of these guys carry and some of the weight twitch carry as a broadcaster

These kids litterally idolize alot of these streamers and want to mimic litterally there every move, as a company they have eyes and ears, they see where the avenue is at in gaming and it looks likere there hopping on that train as well.

I hope im wrong but seeing what the past has brought in old games and seeing the trend whats going on in these new games, for players like myself that enjoys franchise and human vs a.i interaction, that seems a thing of the past.

Judging by the forums and what I have read, the show 21 is a pure disaster. Missing all kinds of stuff, key elements that should be in a game just because its apart of the real life sport. "No Night Games" Really? Smh lol

when I look back at mvp days and how long mvpmods took that game and just kept building and building on the foundation of what they had maybe that could be done on 20, but I think like Armor, and Don has said it looks to be a new wave and the development team seems to be going a different direction, today's release shows that clearly.

So im signing on out, but I wanted to say thank you to entirely every single modder that has created true gems in this game. Good luck

To the devs, thanks for making the game but yall could have done, a better job, where all fans of the game called Baseball and when you alienate your core base for so called future fame, better becareful what you ask and wish for, because that grass is not always greener on the other side.

Just for the record, this was already a thing before this year in terms of who was playing what on Twitch etc. So I don't think using that as a basis for why XYZ isn't/won't be there would be the best way to look at it considering the love for MLB The Show 20 had the same parameters.

Yeah I know probably but still they won’t all. E 100% there. Which means if it’s 1 or 2 players roster makers will be at ssds mercy to wait

There is going to be missing players we all know this but we cant add them ourselves in 10 seconds anyone and fix the problem. It’s going to delay osfm rosters even more sadly I’ll get the game when all roster issues are sorted in a few months.

No shogo has to be a Jordan/bonds thing.

Puk played in 2019 I believe but still never added.

Theres a few others im sure, but on a positive note we got moore and flexen with scans thats pretty impressive considering in the past they would be generics.

I'll definitively give all the scene veterans a good hand of applause. The community has come a long way in the last 5-6 years.

I've worked on Show rosters a couple years, but I've worked on Fire Pro Wrestling edits for 22 years and counting, and that series is ALL community-created content, 100,000 different creations on Steam for the newest game. Don't be afraid to stick to the old game as long as you can until the features you want are back. Create your standards, fill the niches, keep creating until every season has been recreated.

Main problem will be, Sony can turn off the vault when they want. So when the times comes, you'll want to archive the files you want to keep for the future and find a way to still export and import save files without the vault.

I would backport the MLB 21 rosters to MLB 20. I would port entire MLB The Shows from the past, as is, to MLB 20.

since there WILL come a time when Sony closes the Show 20 vault I've downloaded a huge amount of classic rosters and are keeping them on a flash drive.

That way if it's closed I can still use the rosters. Is anyone else doing that?

since there WILL come a time when Sony closes the Show 20 vault I've downloaded a huge amount of classic rosters and are keeping them on a flash drive.

That way if it's closed I can still use the rosters. Is anyone else doing that?

I have. I have done that since MLB 11. I have every single roster on flash drives and more importantly in my cloud storage via PSN Plus. The annual fee for that alone is worth the price to have cloud storage.

So we have dual control of all our classic rosters. So glad I did this for NBA2K18 (the last 2K I ever will own) (and 2K11 on PS3) because they shut their servers down after a year.

I highly suggest people back up all their rosters so they have them....forever.
