Actually I said it won’t be 100% accurate. If the import option was there, it would be less work for them and we wouldnt need 3 different updates their having to spend extra weeks creating players from scratch it would. Be mostly tweaks with some new players having to be added but not 400 plus

But seriously the roster will be accurate. Where are you seeing otherwise?Comment

Re: No Import rosters at all this year get ready to start from scratch
Well the "full minors" they released last year were just awful. Teams with 11 catchers and 1 left fielder, Power hitters with no power, speed guys with no speed, glove first guys with awful fielding atributes. I would be willing to work with them and recreate every minor leaguer with their exact attributes. Full minors to me means all real players, AAA, AA, A+, A, A-, advanced R, R (Gulf Coast), (AZL), DSL all playable.Comment

Ridin makes sure all the available players are real.
And I think because of what you're eluding too, SDS dropped the Full Minors thing. They didn't mention anything about it this year probably because the semantics make it a point of contention. Because technically if one player was fake then it isn't really "full" minors.Comment

Re: No Import rosters at all this year get ready to start from scratch
Kudos to you bro! Also, not sure if you got the game yet, but they have DRASTICALLY improved equipment. Its like SDS has gone through and edited them already. I know that sort of thing is fluid but its nowhere near as bad as it used to beComment

Re: No Import rosters at all this year get ready to start from scratch
It was a big loss losing year to year saves.
My question is this. If I create a Roster in MLB 21 on a PS4, can this transfer over to MLB 21 on a PS5? I hope the answer is yes. Does anyone know the answer?
Hopefully year to year saves between MLB 21 and MLB 22 will be once again possible.

A roster created on the PS4 I believe can only be played on the PS4 version. I do not know if the vault (which is bugged until patched) is multi platform and cross gen.
Correct me if I am wrong someone.

So, for those that have a PS4, but plan to upgrade to a PS5, it makes little sense to spend time working on a roster.

Thank you for the offer. I do not have anything yet that I can upload.
It would be terrible for the game if it did not work though.

Re: No Import rosters at all this year get ready to start from scratch
So I just found out about the inability to import rosters and perform a carry over save on 21. I am stunned and feel like an idiot for taking the plunge last year and diving into the creation of a classic roster. It was something I had wanted to do for years and when covid hit I had the time, Cycloniac’s roster calculator gave me a method to the ratings creation that I believed in and Out of the Park provided a historical reference that I could map from to create something that I felt good about. After putting in more than 800 hours to create a roster with over a 1000 CAPS (special thanks to the creators who I feel terrible for), the game was fantastic. I have had more fun with MLB 20 than any other sports game I’ve played. My two franchises are at the all star break and I decided to see what the reviews were for MLB 21. To say that I’m stunned is an understatement I guess. Why the developers would eliminate these features knowing how many people have dedicated so many hours to enhance the game astounds me.Comment
