I see that your team will be adding the missing top 30 prospects for each team, will there be any consideration to at least attempting to get the top 100 list to be accurate compared to the real life list? Just downloaded the game from game pass and was very excited to see they expanded from top 50 to the full 100 in franchise however the actual order seems to be all over the place

Our ratings are based on Prospects Live scouting reports with a little mix of Fangraphs and MLB Pipeline.

We rate purely off those grades.

The Top 100 should shake out pretty close to real life, but we’re not rating players to match that. If that makes sense.

Tbh I have no clue how MLB The Show grades propsects for those top lists anyway.

That would ideally be the goal, but we focus on real life accuracy the most and cannot guarantee the game’s considerations will match. Typically they overrate current overalls by comparison to a holistic analysis of overall/age/potential/position

Age, FV, Top 100, Performance, Level, etc all play a part.

FV plays a part but it’s more complicated than just FV = Potential.

Age, FV, Top 100, Performance, Level, etc all play a part.

I don't know how you guys are determining who makes the roster, but would be great to see some NYY prospects in the game that are among their top prospects not ranked on MLBPipeline.com, but on sites like Fangraphs or 1500Prospects.com.

C Carlos Narvaez - He's actually on the teams' 40-man roster but not in the game
OF Francisco Vilorio - The teams top international signing

Besides that, looking forward to seeing this roster, will it be based off of the Live roster that has Yamamoto in the game? Or the original base roster from when it released on the 19th?
