I've used the roster on default sliders and it plays just fine IMO. But I'm using his sliders with a change to the pitching level, bumped up from hall of fame to legend +. Using legend + is from the dynamic difficulty level, once I got to legend + I lowered the dynamic slider to 0 to lock that in.

I don't pitch a ton, but when I do I need the CPU to be more dangerous because I use analog pitching.

This may have already been asked but I can’t find it unless I’m just doing something wrong..

Is there a way to sit Ohtani out from pitching in year one of the franchise and have him just as a hitter like he’s doing IRL this season? Then have him pitching and hitting next year?

Yes

If you're using 30 team control, put Ohtani in the SU2 spot in the bullpen. He'll DH but won't pitch.

All u half to do keep ohtani as a SP monitor there rotation every time he is due to start rotate there rotation just keep him always at #5 etc but rotate it pending on the date your on. I believe as long as he's on the roster he can be selected to DH. He would never pitch as long as u move him in rotation the date he's due to start.

Serious question bc I follow all the mlb threads when patches are released....does anyone have issue with cpu not making solid contact with (in our case this roster and slider set)? I'm on legend pitching and allstar hitting and games vary to close or blow outs going either way for me, depending on the pitcher match up. And simmed games around the league look the same and I've also seen a perfect game, no hitter and one hit games with these. [emoji817][emoji1533][emoji2379]


Also in regards to umpire strike calls, what setting is better? Precise strike zone or variable zone? I use the latter but thinking of trying the precise setting.

I've always used variable umpires. If you try precise, let me know how that goes. I always figured variable is more life-like.

Working on a slight update to the sliders, liking the results I'm getting. No huge changes, just slight tweaks.
