You were trying to say you are seeing patterns after two, yes, count em, two games.

Please do use someone elses.

The only issue I see at the moment is a lack of hr's for me.
In 2 separate franchises I have struggled.
20 games in with STL I have only hit 9.
And in the 2nd one with TOR thru 10 games only hit 4.
Wondering if you have had troubles yourself or anyone else using these feel free to chime in.
I'm thinking of raising power a click to see if this improves things?

Other than that nice job as always...
Thanks.

Yeah, my homers are coming in fits and starts, 0 in my first 3 games, 4 in my 4th, few scattered about since then, think im on 11 from 12 games as it stands, so ill keep an eye on it.

Quick question ...I'm trying to lower the amount of CPU pitches that end up right down the middle.
I was toying with actually increasing CPU pitch control to 6 while keeping first strike where it is in your set. The idea being the CPU would paint the corners more... Curious to hear anyone's opinion.
I see the CPU trying to paint the corners a lot, i wish i saw more meatballs lol, it may even itself out over time, let me know.

Cant say im seeing this nezff. Through 12 games ive only given up 7 HR and average XBH numbers.

I have seen more errors post patch. Anyone else noticing this? I also bumped up CPU pick off by one due to them never throwing over at 5. I don't take an extra step since the CPU doesn't either and this may be the cause.

So because somebody didn't answer you immediately you assume they have abandon their sliders? Did it ever occur to you that they were busy, or even better... They are playing the game, and don't feel the sliders need continuously tweaked? Not to mention, you are posting about patterns after 2 games, on a mode "Manager only", where you don't do anything but watch, so essentially it is CPU vs CPU. These sliders are for people who actually play the game. You're right... You should use some other sliders. Like ones that are designed to match the mode you are playing.

This is one of the only things I've struggled with, with these sliders. I am the Royals..Arguably the best defensive team in baseball, and I am dead last in fielding percentage, and errors committed. I had to lower all errors. I think I took all infield errors to 3, and changed outfield throwing errors to default or 4. Haven't played yet since the change, but that is the ONLY thing I have changed from the original post set. My Royals are 4-8 on the season.

Interesting observation guys thanks.

I cant say ive seen any real discernible upturn or difference in errors post patch at all, but ill certainly add it to the list of things to keep an eye on.

Good feedback, thanks.

For the record.. I was speaking of in general. Not strictly post patch. I think i've only played a couple games post patch. Most of my errors were prior to the patch. Granted...A lot could fall on user error, but I'm usually pretty solid in my defense control.

Re: <-Perfect Sliders 2015->

Guys, first (and possibly only) tweak to the set.

SOLID HITS - to default for both the Hum and CPU.

I am simply just not seeing enough offense on both sides, my team batting avg through 16 games in .216 (and believe me i can hit) with a team ERA of 2.09 - now granted having a good pitching staff helps, but im shutting the CPU down way too often and both me and the CPU are hitting too many warning track fly balls that, judging by the crack of the bat and pitch placement within the zone, should probably be home runs.

Remember - a solid hits increase doesnt generally mean more hits, (though it can affect batting avg a little), just more solidity on those that are squared up, ergo more XBH and HR, a little offensive boost on both sides.

I think the Solid Hits slider this year seems to be like the CPU Strike Frequency one, that in years gone past both always needed slashing to play realistically...not the case this year

So yes, Solid Hits to DEFAULT for both Hum and CPU is the change, input it in manually as i wont be uploading to the vault again for the sake of one change.

Cheers, and feedback welcome!!!

Agreed. Offense definitely needed a boost.
Like I mentioned a few posts ago I raised power a click and left solid hits as is.
Seeing much better results with these settings...so that is another option.

So did you leave solid hits as is as far as .. Default or did you leave them as is as far as the set at 4? and you raised power to 6? O and you did for both CPU and user?
Thanks

I knew something was up when I was 2nd in the league in Ks with Bartolo Colon.

I put solid hits on default and had my best offensive outing. With solid hits on 4 I was struggling to get hits and was dominating with my pitching, I'm 1st in the majors in Ks. BTW I uploaded your sliders w/the tweaks, its under "Perfect 1.1.

No, actually it occured to me that the sliders affect things even in MOM because I have been using Nomo's sliders with better results.

I am only posting about Nomo's sliders in here because you obviously were looking for discussion with me. Take care.

I do no want them on the vault for such a minor tweak, honestly, could you not have asked before doing something like this.

Yeah, generally everything i wanted, except juuuuust not quite enough power hence the tweak to Solid Hits.

Other than that, great, your homers will come, mine tend to come in bunches, just dont try to hit them and it will happen, get in good hitters counts sit on a fastball etc.
