Does everyone see enough CPU steal attempts? I usually just see hit and run attempts. I dont remember a runner on first taking an extra lead 10 games thru my franchise.

I noticed this also. I am using Tnk sliders and his base stealing frequency is at 6. I know yours is at 5. I see the cpu stealing with guys that shouldnt be. They hit and run alot.

This is just a observation Im having going from two different sets.

Am I the only one giving up a ton of home runs? And not just home runs, I mean absolute bombs. I have given up 3 home runs a game in my first series of off good pitchers. I know how to pitch in this game and this isn't something that I am used too. The games were played in Cincy so maybe it was just a bad series but if every fastball I throw is going to be sent 400 feet into the bleachers I need to make an adjustment. I only gave up 18 hits in the series but 9 of them were bombs. Any suggestions?

Not seeing that at all.

Im 5 games into my Tigers franchise and ive given up just 3 HR.

It'll settle down over time.

This is my issue right now. I've given up 2-3 home runs PER game through 5 games..

It's not because the sliders... It's lack of user skill. I don't mean we suck, I mean we are just placing pitches in wrong spots. If you check after each home run, it's always in the sweet spot.

With pitcher control/consistency at 3.. You have to pitch outside the zone almost every pitch to hit the edges. I noticed that I kept throwing at the edges inside the zone and it kept creeping inside near the middle.. I understand why I'm giving up hrs now, but cannot figure out exactly how to pitch to avoid it yet. Still working on that lol

Maybe my issue is the consistency. Too often a I'm seeing a walk or bloop single turn into a 4 run inning because my pitcher loses the effectiveness of his fastball. I'll have to monitor that moving forward.

@PsychoBulk looks like price is working out pretty well for you guys, sad to see him go but wish him nothing but the best.

Now onto the sliders im on HOF hitting All Star pitching. Analog directional hitting and analog pitching. Everything is great as far as stats and game play is concerned, except for the fact that over the past 10 games the cpu pitchers are averaging 2 strikeouts a game. What can I do to fix this without affecting everything else?

so i really love the sliders... but for some reason i cant hit still.. i switched everything back to the way the Sliders are i have been way more patient... im just whiffing hardcore... last two games i opened with the Astros and i had 10 hits in the last two games together.. Astros are getting 8-10 and they just went back to back HR on me.. i am using the Indians as well FYI

I'm seeing plenty, not too much for my runners though. I even had a pitcher attempting to steal on me (Anthony Descalfini) and I actually barely threw him out. That close lol, and a pitcher?! First time ever I've ever had a pitcher attempt on me.

when starting a Franchise....any diff between using current rosters or " live" and which should i use???
im getting better by the way making pitchers throw 5-8 pitches per guy almost

Let me guess, behind every fastball and out in front of every off-speed pitch? If so, while it sounds counter-intuitive, try bumping up the pitch speed. I went from default to 8 and it made a HUGE difference. My issue was that I had too much time to think as the pitch was approaching. When I bumped up the pitch speed, it was basically read and react....which helped enormously.
