Thanks Armor. What should I look out for that might not be as realistic? Is there a certain version I should look for in the vault?

Just keep an eye on SB's, and CPU pitching. Do not come to any conclusions though for at least 20-25 games. On anything as the team your running with has a lot to do with it as well.
Look around the league at stats etc as well. But in all reality I usually do not draw statisical conclusions with baseball for at least 45-50 games. Now Playing on PS5:

Re: Armor & Sword's MLB The Show 15 Timed (Directional)/Classic Simulation Sliders
I may be a) stating the obvious here, b) discovering something that no one is aware of, or c) crazy. But I firmly believe that you can influence the location of the ball after you start your windup. I've been playing around with this the past few games and it's either the craziest of coincidences or I'm influencing the direction of the ball. I doesn't work 100% of the time but if you throw slider out of the zone for example with a right handed pitcher to a right handed batter and hold the left analog stick to the left through the duration of the windup/delivery its way outside. Same thing with any other pitches. Is common knowledge? If so, I wasn't aware of it.
However, this instantly makes classic pitching too easy as I can place my pitches wherever I want them. The easy solution is simply not to do it. But it makes it quite difficult for me not to in key situations.Comment

Here's an easy test. Go into practice mode (this still exists, right?). Throw 10 pitches down the middle without touching the left stick.
Then, do the exact same over the next 10 pitches, but this time hold the left stick all the way to left AFTER selecting the pitch type and pressing X to throw.
And be sure to place it on rookie difficulty. This will eliminate any variables.

After testing 30 games, most in season mode. These are great. Just wonderful. My strikeouts have evened out on both sides (you were right A&S). I am ready to start my official franchise now with the Buccos. Thank you A&S and all who helped!Comment

I have a question you still have the directional hitting markers turned off correct? If so, can you still influence hitting with the left stick? Thanks for these sliders.

Nothing like the hot Texas air. Had 5 RBI's with Brian McCann yesterday on a 2 run dinger and a 3 run double against the Rangers.

That's certainly a game changer for me. All this time I thought if those visible cues were disabled it was based solely on timing. No wonder I couldn't hit the ballComment
