No question; these sliders have never seen the All Star light of day.

Lucked out in starting up a second franchise today w the new patch. Playing opening day of my Phillies franchise right now to see how things play with patch 1.04. I doubt it'll affect anything.

I'm going to stream game 1 on Twitch for anyone who wants to tune in. Link should be in my signature.

I thought the injury slider only affected games played and NOT simmed games? Since '08 I've felt injuries were perfect but this year I get maybe 1 major injury a year and about 5-10 minor day to day ones during simmed games. Has this changed?

I was surprised too. It defintely impacts simmed games, from what I could see while testing.

Well, now that the patch notes are out, it's safe to say these are still set to work just fine!

If anything, it impacts simmed games MORE than played games.

At least for me - I still get so few injuries at 10 at the majors (play every game), but my minors (simmed) are decimated and several injuries around the league.

One of the aspects of these sliders that I love the most is the variety I'm seeing in my bullpen. Nothing out of the ordinary, but we have Joba Chamberlain who's standing out as a potential All-Star MR here on June 15th.

Very cool considering he's not even my highest rated MR.

I'm even seeing deeper percentages coming out clean such as swings and misses divided by balls out of the zone. Last game the Reds were a half percentage point below 30%, which is exactly where it should be (30%). Of course, the usual strike to ball ratios, first pitch strikes, and foul balls are still accurate.

This has more to do with the game, but it's nice to know this can still hold up via sliders.

How do you think pulse pitching would work here? Always used it but wanted some thoughts on this vs meter. Is there a big difference?
