I complained to Russell Ramone for years and then they fixed it and now it appears to be ****ty again. also, when a runner is on second base with zero outs or one out, and a ball is hit to the right side of the infield for an out, the runner does not advance to third base. this is total BS and needs to be corrected.
Low compared to what? How many seasons are we talking? RISP is a far smaller sample size. I recall grumblings about this, but never noticed anything myself.

As for the baserunning, I've never once seen this issue for either the user or AI.

My gripe with baserunning is that stolen bases are awarded on hit and runs where the ball is put in play. This along w reliever hooks (must be situational) and SP stamina during simmed games are updates we'll hopefully see.

The base-running issue is when you are in either the sportscast manager screen, or in the fast-forward screen while you are in a game. and sim a season and you will see much lower than average RISP batting averages.

what are your issues with reliever hooks and sp stamine with simmed games ?
when I start a game and sim in the game - ff to the 9th inning to prevent a lotta CG's - I just leave it on 8 on all the way and cpu bullpen ai looks good to me.

the work you have done on sim sliders is great and I appreciate all you have done.

Again though, compared to what? Are you looking at actual real-life RISP from multiple MLB seasons?

In the vast majority, the AI only takes our a reliever after they're tired or have given up at least one hit. You won't see the AI bring in a lefty specialist to come up and get David Ortiz to strike out and then go back to the bullpen and get a righty for Hanley Ramirez, for instance. Since the RP got Ortiz out--and maybe it has something to do with pitcher confidence which I already have turned off--he'll be left in until he is tired, gives up a hit, or maybe until the next inning (unless it's a closer situation).

you are welcome and well deserving.

how do you think your sliders will look next year ?
I think that they will not need to be changed much.

I agree. I'm not expecting major tweaks, but there will likely be some. Especially if they made adjustments to injuries happening more frequently compared to last year's game, for instance.

I have UPS confirmation that my copy will arrive tomorrow, so if anyone's around, I'll be toying around some w franchise and carry over saves.

I'm undecided about continuing my Tigers or a new franchise. With the new morale system, a fresh start is appealing.

how did you get an early copy ?

yes, please check carry-over saves and if there are any big issues.
I assume moral will be current if you carry-over a file save.

and please check box scores; game logs; and if stats carry-over.
I hope they gave us better box scores and game logs.

Ha I'm definitely around, just not playing the Show anymore. I just don't think it's a good game this year--too many of the same problems every year--and OOTP is a much better baseball game.

Totally agree. It's because it's the exact same game every year for the last 8. I can't do HoF anymore. The crap is just too much. Not glad that you aren't having a good time, but glad you are honest enough with yourself to admit that it's just not a good game anymore.
