How is CPU hitting against you guys with this slider set?
I have had back to back shutouts, with few walks, and alot of K's.

1. Yordano Ventura vs Athletics (I was Home)
2. Zach Greinke vs Red Sox (I was on Road)

I also still think both CPU and Human Solid Hits need to be 5.

Then move it back for yourself....I still want to play 35-40 games in franchise before I come to any concert conclusions.

Baseball reverts to mean. Ventura is a beat on this game and Greinke.....well you get the picture.

CPU has been hitting on me..sometimes not. That's baseball. But sample size is critical and you need 40 plus games...been doing this for years it takes some time to fine tune because you need........your guessed it, a sample size.

Armor I was wondering about your hitting philosophy as well...
I have hit several dingers so far with ur sliders but no " no doubters" where home run animations trigger. Didn't know if u were using just the X button exclusively or using power swing. Thanks for ur time on these they are awesome!

I use the X button for 90% of my hitting

I use the circle button on 0-2 and 1-2 counts to stay alive, fight pitches off, or to hopefully get some hits in some cases. The contact swing is critical in these counts to hopefully fight off pitches and fight back in the count and get it back to 2-2 so we can make the pitcher come in and give us a better pitch to hit.

I use the square (Power) button very rarely. 3-1 count or 2-0 count with a excellent contact and power rating hitter. Think Trout, Harper, Goldschmidt types only.

Directional - I will use directional when really trying to either sac fly (in combo with the contact swing) or hit and run (X Normal swing)

When trying to execute a hit and run you want to hit behind the runner. So Directional helps with that.

Other than that I just press X 90% of the time.

Thanks Armour. I used your sliders last year and just pressed x 100% of the time with pretty good results. This year, albeit a very small sample size so far, I'm having a bit of trouble. Just wanted to make sure nothing has changed from last year.

In MLB 16 there were a few change. The reward for good timing has been expanded, and the penalty for late/early swings has been expanded as well. In addition the pitch speed seems to be a bit slower this year AND these sliders have fastball pitch speed at 3.

All these things could have you a little off balance.
It is not exactly like '15 so you might just be a little off on hitting right now as you get into swing of things (pun intended)

I don't know if I am blind but I don't see any option for score display, pitch select display or swing pitch info. Where do I find those?

Hey Armor and Sword lets Play Ball Baby glad to see you and Marino going strong ! Alot of nice tweaks by SCEA this year and I tried playing All Star default this year like I prefer but no offense and too much pitcher domination in over 25 games so did you see this also ?

My big question unless I missed it in the thread will you be doing a QUICK COUNTS version or do you have any suggestion/adjustments for me yet Thanks

The set on page one has been tested for both quick counts and full counts. No need for separate sets this season.

Just so everyone knows:

Pitch speed is a personal taste slider. So if you like it on default, then move the off-speed slider up to 7.

We feel whatever setting you have pitch speed on...move the off-speed slider up 2 to sync the difference in pitches.

PS My left stick doesnt work great on my Controller so I have another coming soon but I switched to auto defense and its not bad for now and it paints a nice picture so my old eyes might just stick with it .

hey @armour&sword I have a question for you? I am doing a fantasy draft with my cubs franchise till I start my real franchise when the hybrid drops, but my question has to do with my starters and what I would need to do to get relievers in the game and more realistic k's, well here is my staff and their stats from their first start

1) kluber 8 ip obb 12 k's
2) terhan 8 ip 1 bb 15 k's
3) lincecum 8 ip 0bb 17 k's

what can I do to make it more realistic
