For my franchise I will play 1 or 2 games in a series, and the player lock the other (rotate what player I lock on). Should I use the sim slider or game slider when I am doing the player lock?
Also Armor do you pitch on HOF? We seem that have the same skill set, and AS has been a bit easy for me.

CPU contact at 6 + All-Star difficulty with classic pitching seems to be the sweet spot, great work on that tweak Armor (and Marino, and whomever else had input).

I'm loving the game so much right now.

Are injuries, and starter stamina for both user and cpu the only adjustments made for your when you sim the other league games?

Yah, after Severino just threw a 2-hit complete game shutout in the 3rd game of the Astros series I'm moving up to HOF pitching for good. I just don't feel challenged on AllStar even with contact moved up to 6. I also had over 10 hits in each of the 3 games so, while staying on AllStar hitting I'm increasing the fastball pitch slider to 6 and offspeed pitch slider to 8.

Hello Armor and guys . Great slider set here. I plan on doing a Mets franchise soon. If I wanted a tiny bit more HUM offense .... What would be better ...HUM TIMING to 6 or HUM CONTACT 6 ? Has anybody tested either of these at 6 and had seen too much HUM offense ? I believe I had HUM timing to 6 last yr. and was kinda my sweet spot . Thanks in advance

I'm thinking I'm going to need to do the same. Although, I am playing as the Braves, lol...

I just started my Dodgers franchise and am playing through ST with these. I'm getting great variety in my games, both pitching and hitting.

I think I'm hitting about .255 as a team with a 3.5 ERA or so.

This year's game is so damn good.

I've been playing a few games with directional hitting (as opposed to zone).

How do you guys typically use directional hitting? Do you try and hit the ball where it's pitched (by moving the analog stick as the ball is traveling)? Or do you guys just use directional in certain situations?

If I'm not trying to imitate real life tendencies, I usually do it based on ratings. Power guys, I'll hold up unless a single is really all I want from them. Contact guys, generally I'll hold down because 25 pwr guys don't need to be hitting flies.

Sometimes I'll do it to try to beat the shift (since there's no real detriment to having, say, Davis try to hit flies to the opposite field where in real life, it might would take him completely out of his swing). I used to do it try to stay out of DPs, but only got mixed results.

I don't normally "follow" the pitches, though. If I'm not looking for a situation or really want to try to hit a certain kind of ball with a guy, I'll just hit X.

                              Armor & Sword & Marino's MLB The Show 16 Timed/Classic Simulation Sliders

Played my first 5 games of the franchise with the Tigers and we are off to a 1-4 start...

Game 1: 2-1 loss to Marlins
Game 2: 7-5 loss to Marlins
Game 3: 5-4 loss to Yankees
Game 4: 4-3 win vs Yankees
Game 5: 3-1 loss to Yankees

Only win came on a walk-off HR by Upton! Of course it was his first hit of the season after starting 0-18.

Dee Gordon wreaked havoc on the bases in Game 1.

Verlander wad pitching great then imploded in the 5th in Game 2.

Sanchez let up 3 in the 1st in Game 3 and we never recovered.

Game 5, we got to Tanaka in the 1st but then couldn't get anything going off him the rest of the night.
