Regarding the home runs have you tried the suggestion earlier in this thread about lowering wind?

So is directional technically easier than zone?

When on directional if the pitch is inside do you get better contact if your press the analog to the right (as if you were moving the pci to the right)? Or does that not really matter?

I cant decide if Zone or Directional is more challenging....

Play on Dynamic difficulty until you get to all star + then then the slider to 0. Turn the dynamic dif display of and there you go, All Star +.

Just saw the news that they are releasing a patch at 3am Pacific Tuesday. Can't wait to see what they fixed!

Great to know. I'm gonna play a bunch more before I do anything like that but thanks again!

I think it is just different ....zone just allows you to compensate for player attributes with your own skill. Many of us in this thread just prefer that player ratings drive the outcome more than stick skills.

So the consensus is directional with buttons?

And my 2nd question about direction your press on the analog?

Loving the new tweaks to both cpu and human pitching. My 5th starter just threw a gem. He was painting the corners and had great control. The very next game my ace could not find the strike zone and gave up 6 runs in 4 innings. Cpu pitching with consistency on 5 works awesome. Great job to everyone for helping out and making this set perfect. Let's hope the patch just helps us and doesn't mess this set up.

this was a cpu vs cpu game tonight, i started in my 2001 multiple team season replay, using Johns rosters. now basically these are using Armors Sliders and this game has ALOT of huge bats thats more than capable of hitting bombs! left and right. this game played amazing, hit variation was on point, if you look at the pitch chart you'll see the balance and the end results. Armor thx for an amazing slider set. once sds drops there patch, i think this already of a gem game will play even better than it already is, and thats pretty scary... o btw... not ONE BOMB All Game. hmnn as yall can see games can be played well and go with out having a homerun like alot of people are saying there seeing..

Looks pretty good except for the homers, walks allowed, and gary sanchez hitting a triple.

Classic pithing is now more challenging with your bullpen and lower rated starters, CPU batters I should fear....are better. HBP was noticeably better IMO. I was still able to easily draw some walks.

The difficulty is amped up as far as pitching, and being even more disciplined at he plate when your hitting with CPU consistency at default 5.

Slider Version 2.6 is now official and updated on the OP.

The following changes have been made.

                            CPU Contact - 6
                            CPU Consistency - 5

                            HUM Consistency - 3
                            HUM - Control - 2

After running full season simulations with these dynamic changes to the trade slider I also endorse this idea for trade activity around the league. It was a great suggestion and works quite well.

Trade slider settings will go as follows:

                            April - 5
                            May - 6
                            June - 9
                            July - 10
                            August - 10
                            September - 10
                            October - 5
                            November - February - 10
                            Spring Training - 10
Yep pitching was too easy on previous sliders. Glad you wanted a challenge
