Armor, the laster version of your sliders are also updated to the 1st page? I'm on my phone and can't tell if they are. Can anyone confirm?

It's a work in progress and Marino and I are tinkering with that idea. But first a good sample size is needed. I don't want to neuter HR's just tweak.

I'm going to try classic but kind of wanna know how you guys use it.

I have an awesome link on the OP to the Classic Pitching discussion thread. Also my clean screen approach and how I select my pitches using classic is explained in detail on the OP.

Classic pitching with no ball marker is the ultimate pitching simulation experience on The Show IMO.

I highly suggest you try it out.

My wife managed to pull me away to go out for some lunch. She is such a good sport I can't say no.

Just got back, walking the dog for 5 minutes then I will begin streaming games!!!

Here's my two cents on the testing about HRs so far (7 games into testing)

I've had the following amount of HRs in these games:

              3
              3
              0
              0
              2
              3
              1

So I can't really comment on HRs fully, but I am not seeing many if any HRs in some games compared to others. After the first two games, I was concerned, but I stand by our philosophy of sample size around 20. So we will continue to test.

I have to agree with you here. It's by far the best way to pitch, IMO. You spend a couple innings feeling out where all your pitches are going and calibrating how much you need to move the stick and to where for each pitch and for lefties and righties.

I almost think of this as finding your personal "release point" because you need to be able to repeat the stick placement for each pitch for every pitcher on your roster on any given day. I really do love it, and the clean screen is very calming as you interact with the catcher (and baserunners) and nothing else.

Last year I played at 7 on both and liked it. I think I'm gonna start there and see how it plays. How do you like having the offspeed slider higher? Does it make the different in speed a little easier to hit?

In either gonna go back to pulse or classic. I don't like meter. I like watching the pitchers motion.

Hitting for me will always be timing/directional. I see such an outstanding hit variety this year it's crazy.

I actually just moved mine back to 7 for both. That's where I had it last year and I think it's just my personal sweet spot

I've tested these with both classic and meter, and they both are fine. I tried pulse but it bothers my eyes.

Can you summarize classic pitching? I read some of that link but there is so much info.

                                1. Read the sign
                                2. Pick pitch w/ button
                                3. Pick location
                                4. Press/hold X? This is the point where i can't figure it if you should tap or press it. Not sure what was concluded.
