Marino do u feel that a pitcher like Jon lester should be in the red as far as stamina in the 9th with 90 pitches thrown and only given up 2 hits? I just had that happen he finished the shutout with 108 pitches and only gave up 2 hits and his stamina was completely drained should I look to move the human stamina up 1?

I have moved stamina up to 7 for humans on mine because as mentioned, I do have some issues where pitchers are tired as well.

What camera are you guys using? I’m trying zoom or custom 2. I’m on AllStar hitting with pitch speed sliders at 6. I seem to be late on most fastballs. I used fastball pitch speed at 6 and offspeed at 8 last year and was fine. I’m not sure if I’m still adjusting to the new game, pitch speeds are faster this year or my camera angle is off this year. Thanks

I use broadcast for pitching and catcher high for batting. I can play on either All Star or HOF for both pitching and batting with both pitch speeds at 10.

I’m trying to do the 30 team control as Seattle, but it says I have to have all teams have the same profile. Help please.

Sounds like you haven’t created a 2nd profile. Once you set up “your” profile you must set up a “cpu” profile, with everything on auto except for lineup/rosters and 40 man roster (keep on manual). Then when you go to your list of teams put all teams except for Seattle on cpu control

I did do that. When I go to Seattle it says it has the CPU profile.

Set your personal profile as “Use as default”, it looks like maybe it applied CPU as it’s set as your default?

No, I fed exactly that. But Seattle still gets the CPU profile.

Broadcast for pitching and for basically all of 17 I used the offset zoom cam that is recommended for these sliders, but for some reason out of the box this year I just went straight to offset. Really liking it so far. Picking up the ball nicely.

I used to use catcher high but had a hard time identifying strikes vs balls so didn't draw many walks. Then switched to fish eye which I used for a while before moving to offset zoom early last year. Saw the ball great but one thing I didn't like was not seeing the whole batter and I didn't like not being able to see too much of these beautiful ballparks.

A weird theory I have is that after a while of using the same camera, it starts to get harder and harder to pick up the ball and have a good eye, causing the need to rotate a few cameras. I'm not talking about every week or few weeks but over many months and maybe even only once a year. Who knows maybe that's just me.

But to answer your question: offset for now

Through only 3 games, all with these sliders here are my results

Rays @ Yankees - W 4-0 (Sabathia vs. Andriese)
Twins @ Yankees - W 9-5 (Gray vs. Odorizzi)
Mariners @ Yankees - W 10-2 (Montgomery vs. Gonzales)

Not sure about those who say they are seeing only a few home runs
In these 3 games I've homered with Didi, Sanchez (2), Drury, Judge, Gardner (Grand Slam). Only gave up 2 homers though, both to Twins (Dozier and Rosario).

Gonna hit the road for a few games now. Probably will go to Boston, Cleveland, and LA (Angels). These should be tougher matchups than my first 3 games whereas in my first few I just wanted to adjust to the game and get timing down and everything so went a little easier on the matchups.

Just beat Boston 8-1 at Fenway... Tanaka vs Sale. Am I just hot right now or? I know this is only a beta version still but I am raking.

Chased Sale after 5.0+ and 5 ER. Only 2 K's and 3 BB's.
Tanaka threw a gem, but I pulled him after 6.1 even though he was only at 85 pitches or so. Could have kept going but in a 5-1 game at the time and just walked a guy with one out, I figured it was time to hand it over to the pen. Kahnle, Shreve and Warren finished it off while I tagged the Sox bullpen for 3 more in the 9th.

In this years version it seems you have to hold the button longer. (I have vibration off) I hold until the pitcher gets to the apex of their kick, right before they start towards the plate and have had the best control doing that.

I did that way so I didn’t have to go to each team and change the profile. I can just click A when selecting teams and only switch the team I am gonna use. I’ll do it the other way when I get off work tomorrow and see if it works.
