I use MLB the show 15. Glad they kept it onboard this year.

I hit and pitch from a modified HOU Broadcast cam.

I also have a version for vs LHP and RHP to change the look.

30 games in the books. I found a way to get back in the win column with a solid performance on both sides of the ball.

I got totally deked out by the announcer and Bryce Harper in this one. I had Marte on first and Adam Frazier cranked one to deep right. Bryces’ back was turned, announcer was going crazy, Ball was doing that crazy turbo thing since patch 1.12...I just floored it with Marte and next thing I know Harper catches the ball over his shoulder. meanwhile Marte is halfway to third base. Whoops.

I really enjoy that (for the most part) I control my own destiny in this game. With a little self-discipline I was able to obtain one my lowest miss percentages all season, turn those misses into some extra hits, and score a few more runs. Gotta learn how to rinse and repeat.

I’m torn between the timing slider at 0 and 1. I’m not sure how much of a difference it makes. I’m just so stuck on what Fenway has these at because I genuinely have to focus on the games or I get demolished even with the Cleveland pitching staff. I had a 5-1 lead this morning against the tigers. Candelario hit a grand slam in the 8th inning to tie and I lost 6-5 after 17 innings.

Nolan and Fenway are the stat guys I just stick around and give my feedback haha. Best sliders by far in my opinion tho right here. I also use mlb 15 hitting camera and broadcast for pitching!

These are definitely intense and require focus, I get pretty jumpy when I hold a slim lead in the late innings, but it feels really rewarding when you can put it all together.

I also like that if I lose a game I can typically look at something that I screwed up on that would have made the difference. I have definitely spent s lot of time figuring out how to pitch a game properly and use my bullpen right.

Wrapped up my series with Washington and any momentum I was building after game #2 was quickly squashed by running into the Scherzer/Strasburg buzzsaw. I pitched well though as I close Tunis to lower my team ERA.

Also had my first leaping wall grab to rob a home run by Marte. I was beginning to think that wall grabs were impossible. Got a nice screen shot memento.

Nice. I haven't robbed one this year yet either. Which is kind of a good thing, as i don't like it to be very common, or easily done. But just a couple of days ago my buddy sent me a screenshot of him robbing a home run. So that is two I've heard of this week. This gives me hope mine is coming at some point.

I’m sitting at 20-12. Carrasco went 8.1 innings 6 hits allowed 2 walks 0 ER. I only managed 2 runs so I’m happy I tossed a shutout. Last game I hit 4 homeruns. The game variety with this set is fantastic

Right on! That’s what I like to hear. Do You feel all of the hit type spreads and scoring spreads feel petty good? Able to draw walks, strikeout CPU batters?

Yes sir I’ve drawn 7 walks in a game last week. I believe I’m 7th in obp and about 15th in average. waiting for my first opposite field homer tho! I draw walks pretty good tho

I am hitting .220. Part of that is the fact that i play with the Rangers, who hit about .230 in real life. So i am not far off. The other part of it is the fact that i have developed some sort of weird habit where i hit most balls in the air, which makes for easy outs. Its very irritating. Ive been trying to get out of that for quite some time because it lowers my babip too much. That is not the sliders fault, thats on me. Just trying to fix it somehow.

My hit type % are 60/26/2/12 % The only thing really missing is about one single per game to get those percentages right. (Again - hitting too many in the air)

Overall im loving the offense,besides my bad habit that i have to figure out soon or im going to lose it. Lol.

I made some adjustments to cpu CPU hitting/hum pitching to try to get more cpu misses and cut down on the ground ball singles which were happening at a 40% clip. It has helped a little but still lots of singles getting through the infield for some reason. But it has been a very small sample size.

Games have been a blast though, despite losing a lot lol.
