If nothing else, this whole discussion really illustrates the need for people to say what settings they're using and whether they differ from the OP's in any way, because something like guess pitch is going to lead to much different results than the settings that Armor and Josh are using.

Would go a long way towards clearing up misunderstandings and inconsistent results like this.

I just added everything to the OP instead of making reference to Armor's thread for some of them. Everything is now laid-out precisely. If you change anything from the OP and provide feedback, it is expected that you lay-out all of the changes you've made.

Quick question. So when you say Directional Timed, does that mean you don't choose an influence and just swing away using x, square, etc... or does that mean you do choose an influence (Directional pad up down left right)?

No, it’s just a reference to when it was referred to as timed. I removed that reference and fixed the typo

Sorry to keep chiming in on this, but you guys were absolutely right in my mind about the BR steal sliders. Ive put it back to default and my last game I won 15-11. I had 19 hits. Amazing find. I’ve scored 25 runs the last 2 games.

So I'm curious. What's different with your sliders compared to Armor's in regards to pitching? With all my hitting woes I could pitch really well with his on HOF. I'm now using yours on All-star and I'm giving up home runs left and right.

Great set Josh. I just started my Braves franchise with your set. I read your OP and a lot of what you wrote, I felt the same. I had a great opening day pitchers duel. Felt really comfortable with your set.

. Well I don't know what's going on. Simply put I made a the adjustments stated. Personally my BR Steal slider was never at anything but default.i tried to adjust picthing speed.... I'm now up to 8 for both but I'm still mostly Early and a few times late. When I think I do get a good hit it just says "contact" ok Batt Speed 80...... And I. Still hardly getting 1-2 runs per game.... And maybe 5-7 hits of which some are don't fielder error .....
Dont know what to do...

It's been a home run fest since I started using these for the CPU. 10 games and if the CPU scores it's on a HR. Doesn't matter who I'm playing. As for hitting everything is hit harder (not experiencing the weak hits I was before) but it hasn't mattered because it's not resulting in more runs. I've never been this frustrated with a game in my life.

So I’ve finally made the leap to do no pitch trail. I’ve thought I can make it work but pitching was just way too easy. I was tired of trying to raise the CPU hitting to make it more challenging. I’ve even went up to HOF but I didn’t like the feel. So now I’ve played 2 game series with it off and it makes a huge difference. It is harder to pitch using that than having it on and turning up contact and power.

For hitting I have raised pitch speed to 8 and lowered user timing to 4. I’ve also lowered user power to 4 cause I’m the Yankees and I was hitting the ball hard too much. I have tried using the exact OP on HOF and I was still hitting too easily so I decided to go back to Allstar. I figure my team is just hot right now.

How are the walk numbers on both sides with these? I have found that I really cannot draw many walks with strike frequency at five. I usually have to lower it to about two.

A lot of it is Foul Frequency imo. I get rocked way more on this set than I do Armors.
