I'd played roughly 75 games on vanilla HOF hitting and pitching.

Switched to these sliders for my first game (Legends franchise), and switched to legend difficult with the sliders.

Dwight Gooden vs. Glavine.
I really noticed the difference. Glavine felt more like Glavine, and Gooden was tough to hit (but not impossible). 1st inning I left a cutter over the heart of the plate that Piazza demolished about 420 feet to left-center. Tommie Agee got me later.

But mostly it felt really good. At the plate, I didn't feel the over-contact that I notice on vanilla HOF - but it wasn't the frustrating challenge of default Legend hitting. Somewhere in between. I think my studs will still get their numbers, but it'll require some patience and quick reflexes.

Mike should the CPU hitting be turned up a bit if doing HOF instead of legend ?

Definitely would think so. I'm not testing on HoF, sorry.

Hey Mike these are the sliders that I been using for my franchise and having a blast.



There’s just few things that I had to personally fix to fit my play style.



But I wasn’t striking out enough so I’m tinkering with lower contact for me, zero timing window and a few ticks added to the velocity of the fastball and breaking pitches.



In standard legend without pci I still feel is too hard to strikeout as a hitter and my team average is a little too high. I’m also first in Homerun with the Braves by almost 10 HR and trying hard to sort that part out as well.

You're making good adjustments for yourself. Stick with it.

Sliders are great! Was playing on HOF hitting but just decided to take the jump to Legend. Giolito shut me down 7IP 14ks 2h 1bb. I’m the Os, very realistic!

Mike, do you do 30 team control? If yes, what’s the reason for it? Lineups/rotation/bullpen? Seems that’s the only way to make them realistic

I do it for my streams to give it clean screens and more of a realistic feel for the viewers

I saw a thread on the forum earlier that stated the new patch has made it easier to K the CPU. Anyone know of any truth to this before I patch my game? I’m liking how it’s playing ore-patch but like Mike has stated, it’s extremely annoying getting a 10k game once a month.

He recommends The Show 15 on here and he appears to use that view in his videos

Primarily because you can't turn it on later. I don't mess with the other teams much at all. To me, the people who do this unknowingly build 30 teams in their same image and end up with very similarly built teams. In real life teams makes mistakes. I'm ok letting the AI do their thing.

I see no difference so far. I believe the patch only addresses online and actually makes contact more likely. [emoji2359] At least, I believe that's what I read in the patch notes.
