And to add onto what SP owns you...

Alex Cobb for like 3 seasons of this game now... I hate that guy.

Are any of you playing with timing (for both human and CPU) at 4? I have been all season but lately I bumped it back to default (5). I can't imagine one click having a huge impact on the game.

Timing is one of those tricky sliders, it can/does just affect so many things. Fouls, Hits, strikeouts, solidity of hits, direction of hit. Imo it's one of the hardest sliders to really get dialed in because of that.

Not to mention the personal side of pitch speeds and your own ability to time your swings. But I mean really you'll just have to play it and see man, I mean obviously 1 click won't change as much as 5 clicks or whatever but honestly you're the only one that will be able to tell how much it will change for you.

So here it is , Game number 163!! ( Very disappointed that the announcers don't even realize what game this is or the importance of the game ) Insane , I just couldn't pull away and the Athletics came out of nowhere and won the last 8 of their 10 games and 5 in a row to force game 163 of the season to determine who gets the 2nd Wild Card spot and to go on and play the Angels in the American League Wild Card Game .
The Ace Prospect Alek Manoah gets tossed into the fire as all the pressure falls on the young 22 year old Rookie . But the youngster has a brilliant game and shows that he can handle the big stage and biggest games as he strikes out 8 in 7 innings of work . This game had no replays , meaning I didn't replay it if I lost or anything like that . I don't believe in replaying if you get rocked and give up 7 runs in the 1st inning and ur season is over . Whatever happens , happens !

Re: Armor & Swords MLB The Show 20 Classic/Directional Clean Screen Simulation Slider

For those that have been watching my streams this Classic Teams Tournament I am doing has been a total blast.

Today The 1997 Florida Marlins shocked the 1975 Big Red Machine 9-4 to tie up their NLDS series 1-1 and send it back to Old Miami for at least two more games.

The 1997 Marlins entered the Classic Teams (V2) tournament as a wildcard and threaten to topple one of the great all time teams in the 75 Reds.

In the ALDS today the 1987 Royals again prevailed in game 2 vs the strong 1984 Tigers as RHP Mark Gubicza tossed 7.2 strong innings allowing only a solo HR to Kirk Gibson in the 1st inning to lead his team to a solid 3-1 win.

Right now here are the brackets and how they look:

                ALDS

                98 Yankees - 2
                87 Twins (CPU) - 0

                ALDS

                87 Royals - 2
                84 Tigers (CPU) - 0

                NLDS

                97 Braves (CPU) - 1
                79 Pirates - 1

                NLDS

                97 Marlins - 1
                75 Reds (CPU) - 1

The format I am using is once the tourney is over with this bracket the final 4 teams will advance to the Final round. Based on my own personal power rankings I will seed all 10 teams in the third and final tournament.

Round two of the Classic Teams Tournament will have the following matchups:

                AL Wildcard:

2019 Rays (CPU) vs 1998 Indians

                ALDS

1983 Orioles vs Wild Card Winner

1997 Seattle Mariners vs 2004 Boston Red Sox (CPU)

                NL Wild Card

2002 Giants (CPU) vs 1985 Cardinals

                NLDS

                2007 Phillies vs Wildcard Winner

1998 Padres vs 1982 Brewers (CPU)

After round 2 is complete the 2 WS winners and 2 WS runner ups will advance as well as the best of the rest from the NLDS teams based on my personal power rankings in how they performed in this tourney.

I have been streaming almost all the games as I choose which teams I will be before I begin and stick with all of them. Obviously I then will flip a coin if two of my teams end up playing each other. The only exception to that rule is the Yankees and Marlins.

If the 1998 Yankees end up facing the 1997 Marlins.....I will use the Marlins (because they are one of the long shot teams in this entire tournament and...well it is fun to be the underdog).

All I can say is this has been so much fun and is a great way to sink your teeth into classic rosters without the grind of a season.

Also a new 90 man roster dropped today called Strato-Matic 1980’s and it is really good and very well balanced. I plan on doing a fantasy draft with it sometime this summer after I finish Year 4 of our Yankees franchise. It is perfect for it. An 80’s fantasy universe? Hell freaking yes.

Edit: I know there's been quite a lot of talk in here about getting the CPU to chase and all, so thought I'd share where I got all my K's at this game.

Edit: I know there's been quite a lot of talk in here about getting the CPU to chase and all, so thought I'd share where I got all my K's at this game.

Brother my laptop busted years ago and I’m 100% mobile since. Sorry I don’t mean to tell you how to post, but just yeah it’s like seven scrolls worth of stats I can’t even read if I wanted to. So, just saying, guys like me are out here, and you’re two of the last five or six posts ...... I feel like a jerk. Whatever man it’s all good.

Wasn't trying to make you feel like a jerk, and I didn't mean your browser on a PC. Post should show up fine on mobile browser, mobile is the only way I get on this site as well.

                          No hard feelings bruh.

Just had my best pitched series of the year, gave up 1, 1, 2 runs in a 3 game series. Now granted, it was against one of the worst hitting teams in the league in the Seattle Mariners, but hey I'm not apologizing for that! With a 4.45 team ERA we will absolutely take it when we can get it. It felt really good.

To the person that plays with the Mariners : is T-Mobile Park considered a pitchers park? All 3 games were low scoring. Played 1 with the roof shut and 2 with it opened. I live in Georgia so I'm about as far away as you can be..don't know much about Seattle.
