I just encountered my first ever corrupt file. Bad storm in Florida made power go out and poof my franchise was gone. Any remedy to get it back?

As far as I know there’s nothing you can do and if that happens it’s gone. I know this doesn’t help you now, but a good idea moving forward is to keep multiple saves for each franchise you have going. Keep 2 or 3 files and rotate through them as you save. That way if something like that happens while your playing and it corrupts that file you’ll have backups so you’ll only lose a day or a few days worth of progress instead of everything.

Thanks for the input but I don’t have ps plus or any extra saves or anything. Good thing I was only 20 games in I guess.

I watched both. Wait for Sept is all I can say lol. My last 6 games have all been low scoring, no more than 2 runs difference, Wins and Losses. All of those games felt like a struggle...at a time when I'm trying to lock the division.

It's come down to my last series of the season with the Nats will determine who wins the Division. Both teams locked in for a Wildcard regardless. I'm truly loving 20 and how it plays.

I learned this the hard way a few years ago, since then I have multiple saves for my franchise. Sucks to have to learn it this way though.

Yeah but if you read that freaking toxic 1.11 patch thread......it is a homer fest, nobody can pitch anymore, nobody can strike out the CPU anymore.

I am so sick of the horse **** in the general forum........you will never see me post ever again....in the general forum. Pure troll fest, pissed off grumpy old men, get off my lawn horse ****. I basically only read this thread anymore. It’s one of the only places where people are actually talking about the game and playing the game instead of their “issues” with the game. It has become the default “general healthy discussion” thread that really doesn’t exist anywhere else (except maybe the franchise discussion thread, but that’s much too bloated with full-blown statistical reports and mock news articles to be engaging in the same way imo).

I basically only read this thread anymore. It’s one of the only places where people are actually talking about the game and playing the game instead of their “issues” with the game. It has become the default “general healthy discussion” thread that really doesn’t exist anywhere else (except maybe the franchise discussion thread, but that’s much too bloated with full-blown statistical reports and mock news articles to be engaging in the same way imo).

Agreed, OS has gotten to be pretty awful for meaningful discussions about the game

Okay my 1 major gripe with the game....for the love of everything can we have an option in 21 to turn Heidi off, or down to bare minimum like she only shows up once a series.

I'd understand it if they said she's there to allow for some things to load in the background lol.

What is disappointing is she says the same exact things as last year. N0thing new.

Presentation in terms of the booth really needs a new coat of paint....I really hope they make some meaningful improvements in that department.

It's not bad. But I cannot listen to it for 162 anymore.

It would have been nice if they took advantage of the stay at home orders and had new announcers work on new content from their homes somehow. Or even do a couple different crews like NBA2K. But flat out, Heidi says the same thing. I do like when she talks about stats like I had 4 base hits with two strikes. Or talk about my swing and miss rate. But you can have Scherzer and Cole facing each other in a 0-0 game in the 6th inning and she’ll talk about how the managers aren’t happy with the offense. Talk about the great pitching.

I know this is talked about in the general forums but I would rather have 2 announcers that aren’t very popular or maybe even just starting out be really good and in depth than 3 well known announcers say the same thing.

Thom Brennaman from the Reds would be my favorite. Or Bob Costas. I remember as a kid listening to him call the Braves World Series in 95.
