Believe me I have had my share of struggles with pitching! The more you pitch, the more you see how it works, and the more you learn how to pitch with different types of pitchers and skill sets. And sometimes, you just get your butt handed to you. lolJUUUUUUUST A BIT OUTSIDEComment

In my Franchise, I play all 162 with the Mets (Legend Hitting, Legend Pitching). Currently it's the all star break and my pitching staff has some wacky rankings. 1st in ERA, 30th in K, 1st in BB, 30th in Hits/BAA, 1st in HR.
I'm really looking to increase my K and lower my BAA but also maybe increase my ERA (silly I know). I don't play too much with Sliders so I'm not sure the best ones to tinker with.Comment

Re: Armor & Swords MLB The Show 20 Classic/Directional Clean Screen Simulation Slider
Approximately what percentage do you listen to the catcher? Or do you call 100% your own game? Does listening to the catcher most of the time give you more of a sim feel? I like to keep the game as easy as possible for me so I usually listen to the catcher about 90% if the time. But I might listen to the type of pitch but not location or vice versa. But I can throw a 2-hit shutout with this approach or I have games where I can’t get anybody out. Starting to think the catcher may not be as smart as I thought
I play on HOF with Armour’s sliders if that makes a differenceYankees modern day

I am calling my own game for the most part. A lot more fun and a far better experience. If I make a mistake.....it's on me. I do not think API is that great at all.
It’s cool to look at his signals.....and nice when you agree with his itch suggestion. But I find myself shaking his calls off 65-70% of the time. AndI never ask nor use for the location. I do that all on my own.
It really is far more stimulating to call your own game.
It being more simulation following the catcher is pure fallacy. Now Playing on PS5:

I am on hold with that until I finish Year 4 of my 2017 Yankees franchise. Once that is done we are focusing on classic roster play through next years release. Now Playing on PS5:

Re: Armor & Swords MLB The Show 20 Classic/Directional Clean Screen Simulation Slider
Just wrapped up April with the Yankees, playing every pitch of every inning. Never completed a full month of doing this before #accomplished.
Sitting 24-8 so far, with the very easy opening month's schedule. Having an absolute blast, and this spreadsheet really helps immerse me in the game. Loving how the stats are looking, by way of realism. Can't thank you enough Armor for the fantastic settings!

Do you keep track of the stats after each game?
I track the team stats on a spreadsheet and the pitchers. I used to do the hitters but that took too much time. And my Google Sheets became slow from all the formulas I was using. What do you use?Follow me on Twitch

Armor, when you do Sounds of the Show, do you set the walk up songs and pitcher entrance songs?
I do but I was thinking with your year 4 Yankees you have your own universe so it would be hard to track down all your players on different teams.Follow me on Twitch
