That would be a big major blow if the rumors are true about Sounds of the Show being removed on MLB 21. But the way this next gen is going and what they are removing it wouldn’t surprise me. Rumor is that we lose it cause Xbox isn’t able to have it.

Worst thing that happened to us Playstation users is losing our exclusive baseball game. It’s literally money over everything nowadays smh.

Where have you seen this? I do see it hasn’t been confirmed and if we have actually lost it, wow what a blow. It’s one of the main reasons I love the game as much as I do...literally no other spots game allows you did add realistic and accurate stadium / player sounds.

The level of disappointment if SOTS has been removed for 21 will be astronomical for me, not to mention wasting all of the hours I have put in to getting SOTS ready for next gen.

By hey, you’d have to think SOTS will be in there, right? After all, they did make a pretty big deal about having 3D audio for the PS5 next gen version? Hopefully that is a good sign, but no doubt your post has me biting my nails, big time...with just 7 days until release.

It is out in the general forums and in the sounds of show forum. People have heard rumors and nobody has confirmation. People are nervous cause SDS is quiet on this. Is SDS not saying anything cause nothing changed or not saying it cause they don’t want the backlash?

I get the game at 11:00 pm Thursday night so I’ll know then. My jaw dropped when I seen the rumor so I hope it isn’t true.

I would think that not telling us and having that has our hidden Easter egg would make it worse for SDS and have a lot of pissed off customers. But if it is removed, that takes away a huge chunk of fun out of 21 that honestly was hanging on a thread to some from what we lost already.

I just was wondering if anyone here would have more information.

Makes me kind of nervous seeing that lowlighthabit hasn’t updated the 2021 page since March 3rd. Only has like 5 teams completed. I know people are busy but I was hoping with the release being 2 weeks after opening day that we would have them ready by game release. Maybe he will update them all at once in the next couple of days.

Sounds of the show will be available on PS4 consoles. All other consoles will have 3 slots for batter walk up songs, 1 slot for home run celebration, and 3 slots for pitcher entry.

Sounds like we lose a lot of the SOTS features. I bought the JR edition. I’m wondering if I can refund and get my money back.

Wow. If that’s true that’s a devastating loss for the game. Losing carryover saves isn’t enough to keep me away from that awesome looking stadium creator but I can’t imagine playing without SOTS, have used them every year. Adds so much to the game. Losing SOTS or being left with them in a really limited capacity would definitely push me back towards 20.

Will be really disappointing if we find out this is true and SDS has purposely been quiet and sneaky about this till they already have people’s money and the game out in their hands. I would hope their better then that.

You can use all of the slots on 20 while playing on the ps5 so why couldn’t you do that on ‘21? Would be so stupid if you can’t.

I agree. But I don’t like the wording to their answer. It looks like we can do walk up, home run, and pitcher entry. Might have to use their music too. But we don’t know.

It'll really be a slap if PS4 SOTS is normal as always been, but next gen, PS5, XSS, XSX are gimped.

Lets remember Show 20 is just a PS4 BC game on PS5 so same features.

I don't know if it's possible or not, but does Xbox allow for custom music in games, especially via USB? I'd almost bet no, and if it's true that MLB is requiring the PS5 and X versions of the games to be the same, there's your answer.

I hope that's not true, cause it's a stupid decision, and a disgrace for PS5 owners for the Show. Losing a feature because MLB is requiring parity.

You should be able to get a refund still. It may be downloaded but it's still locked since it's not released yet.

Folks you just got your reasons for not only the removal of Y2Y but now SOTS.

I got slammed by a few people in they general forums stating the move to XBOX (I was speculating but you know I had a strong feeling this was the real reason) was the reason we lost Y2Y saves as well as ability to import rosters.

So here is the deal. The PS4 version of the game will still have sounds of the show. Thats it.

New gen PS5 has been stripped away of two of the very best franchise features in Y2Y and SOTS.

Wow.

Like I said.....stick with 20 folks. You have all you need there.

Rosters, SOTS, simulation based gameplay at the core of the engine.

Who the **** knows what else they have done to this game with the move to multi console platforms.

Who cares.....MLB 20 is the GOAT. And on the PS5 it is like a new game for me.
